More basically, HVAC systems will need to be re-designed if the threat of airborne illness like COVID-19 will continue to be a concern. Things like air plenums will need to be re-considered. There's always a check for asbestos in pre-1995 buildings in the interstitial space (commonly used as a air plenum) to make sure cabling contractors are not working in areas that may have friable asbestos.
It may come down to shutting down air handling in areas where cabling work needs to be performed - that way there is no/minimal air circulation while cabling crews are working in the air plenums running cable.
Cool.
Awaiting Fauci and Adams to say that’s dangerous.
“So do you believe infection rates inside buildings that run central AC will not slow down once the weather gets warmer?”
I could be wrong but Yes.
My understanding the virus will not travel as far in warm moist environments. The AC units pull the air in a return to cool it then pushes it back out the vents in a confine building space. I think this action will allow the virus to spread in Malls and stores during the Summer time. All modern buildings and houses have AC now.
During the Spanish Flu they did not have AC like we have now.
Wondering the wide spread use of AC will allow the virus to hang around in the Summer time. The levels will drop but we will still see infections. I do not think it will disappear the levels will just drop.
The Spanish flu the levels drop real low during the summer time then came back in the Fall.
It's okay to love our food. Portion sizes, though. Oofah.
As Micheal Kelly said - "We are some kind of fat".
and:
"And a few last reminders: A muffin the size of a softball is not breakfast. It is dessert; you are eating cake at 8 a.m."

He was a good guy. One of the few writers at the time that called out President Clinton.
I know the hospital had to redo theirs back after Legionnaires and some other scares (H1N1 and Ebola). I knew the air was good on the floors. I was down in the basement.
We had sewage drain up through the floor one time. They shampooed my carpet. The funny thing is I was sharing a wall with the sterilization department. They tore down the other side of my wall and rebuilt it.
Right now just about every form of human governance is currently failing to adequately protect it’s people from an attack governments have anticipated for many years.
I understand our grocer only has some off brand of tp no one’s ever heard of. If it’s in stock. And then limiting it to one small package. Who’s getting all the Charmin?
IOW, they were slack. No where in the article was temperature testing mentioned. Shipping out their illegals might work, as well.
SWEDEN
Summary:
As of April 14th, 1,033 people have died with the coronavirus in Sweden. That is likely to increase tomorrow as more deaths that happened over the Easter weekend are added to the statistics.
Since the start of the outbreak, 915 people have been in intensive care, which also includes fatalities and patients who have recovered and been discharged. A total of 530 coronavirus patients were in intensive care units on April 14th, and around 300 non-coronavirus patients.
There have been 11,445 confirmed cases of the coronavirus as of April 14th (up from 10,948 the day before).
Everyone in Sweden is urged to stay at home if they are at all sick (even a mild cough or sore throat), practice social distancing, avoid non-essential travel within the country, work from home if possible, follow good hygiene practices, and avoid non-essential visits to elderly people or hospitals.
People aged over 70 or in risk groups are advised to avoid social contact as much as possible. These are Sweden’s official recommendations to reduce the spread of the virus

Who’d have guessed a virus would mutate.
Same problem with the regular flu vaccines year after year.
We’re going to be stuck with this monster forever thanks to the flubros helping to spread it because it’s their Right.
You are absolutely right about the central air conditioning systems plus the colder air they produce. As soon as I realized what was happening, I also realized that’s what we had at work, in a huge building that had other companies in it.
At home I just use the windows but one friend of mine has central air conditioning in her apartment building.
That project is years behind proving it isn’t essential. If they had shut down for a few weeks, they wouldn’t have hundreds in quarantine today. Were they at the very least taking temperatures at the beginning and end of every shift? Doubt it.
Resurgence, same as with Ebola.
3M does make a filter for Home AC that can block the virus from being recirculated. I would not expect commercial buildings to spent the extra money.
There ya go, criminals. We know you’re not that smart but take a minute to think about how badly you want to rob someone. Is the $14.94 from that guy’s wallet worth catching CV in jail and dying?
Or we are the evolution, to make sure we get enough D.
Wishful thinking. In the animal kingdom, mates search out the best specimen to procreate with. The widows will search out new baby daddies who beat the virus.
My highest weight reached 218 in 2003. Down to 150.5 this morning. Target is to track to 146 lbs. The objective is to limit stress on my joints due to rheumatoid arthritis. My blood tests have been perfect with the exception of a slightly elevated beta HCG that I watch due to being one of two markers for my cancer in 1985.
I will wear a mask in the grocery store, but I certainly won’t wear one for a walk in the park near my house, even if mandated. Wearing one outside, when your viral load - assuming you’re packin’ virus asymptomatically - or other people’s typically gets scattered to the four winds before reaching another person - is just ridiculous.
It was good.
