Where in the world is Waldo? Oh, wait wrong meme. Carmen Sandiego? Warmer, but no. The answer is zinc sulfate 220-milligram tablets or capsules suitable for popping like candy for a few days. As we've seen, the mass media has been determinedly ignoring the third leg of Dr. Vladimir Zelenko's treatment trifecta. Still, the word has gotten out, and the stuff appears to be out of stock absolutely everywhere.
Forward magazine piece on Dr. Vladimir Zelenko.
So! What happens if you get sick enough from coronavirus to seek treatment? Even if your own primary-care doctor is friendly to the hydroychloroquine and azithromycin drug-treatment combination, the odds are against zinc sulfate making its appearance at the party when you need it the most. Moaning and thrashing with fever while struggling to breathe will be the worst possible time to find yourself up the proverbial creek without a paddle. A prudent fellow might opt to buy a paddle in advance.
But how? Where? The only supply in evidence appears to be "99-percent pure" zinc sulfate monohydrate, supplied cheaply indeed by at least one merchant on Amazon. The catch is that it's meant for treating pecan trees for moss and evidently for curing leather. You've got to wonder what's the other one percent in the mix. Few people have forgotten the two venturesome souls who gaily downed fish-tank cleaner with the notion that chemicals are chemicals. Like, dude! Hydroxychloroquine chloroquine phosphate close enough, right?
An obvious thought does occur. Why zinc sulfate specifically? Why not, say, zinc picolinate, zine citrate, zinc gluconate, zinc acetate, or even water-insoluble zinc oxide? The difference seems to be about relative bioavailability of elemental zinc in a non-toxic form suitable for human consumption.
I guess my question is what y'all are doing yourselves about stocking up on a small but sufficient supply of the third leg of the primary treatment triad in case you personally or one of your loved ones unexpectedly meets the Slough of Despond that is a serious coronavirus infection.
"Pssst!"
Herb's head jerked around. A small face peered at him from behind the doorjamb of the hospital room entrance. "Daisy! Good timing, honey." Herb listened carefully for footsteps. "Quick, come in!"
Daisy scampered into the room and looked worriedly at her mother, who seemed to be sleeping in her hospital bed. "How is Mommy, Daddy?" She gave a small bottle to Herb, who popped open the lid and pressed a pill from it into his wife's mouth. He lifted a glass of water to her lips, and she opened her eyes a bit. The pill and water went down quickly.
Smiling at his wife and then his daughter, Herb said, "Don't worry, darling. We'll make sure your mother is fine." Footsteps approached, and Herb hastily concealed the bottle in a coat pocket. A nurse entered with a glower of suspicion. Daisy looked out the window, and Herb radiated friendly innocence.
What about Cold-Eeze?
I've got unopened mail on my desk that's become galvanized, it's been there so long.
Yep - none available down in our neck of the woods...
You don’t need HCQ, Z-Packs and Zinc.
Quecetin + EGCG + Chelated Zinc will work just as well. The first two are powerful Zinc ionophores and will kill Corona.>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>
Very interesting!
Quercetin:
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Quercetin
Catechins EGCG or Epigallocatechin gallate Green Tea Extract
Chelated Zinc.
What dosages of these would you recommend?
LOL, that was a good Simpsons episode. :-)
Exactly.
Are you posting from San Fram?
Nail, I meant to post nail.
No, Florida
The Senior Men’s Health vitamin has 100% of the recommended amount. Is that enough?
Yes, EGCG is in "green tea extract" but not as much as there is in MATCHA green tea (the more expensive Japanese stuff, which has 18 times as much EGCG).
The :why" is that Quercetin and EGCG have simiular properties as HCQ, they are Zinc Ionophores, meaning they deliver zinc into the Corona virus cells.
STUDY:
Yes! I just learned about Quercetin being effective from medcram doctor. Lots of good info on his channel. https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCG-iSMVtWbbwDDXgXXypARQ
I have a mild fever/cough as last 3 days. So self-isolating from family (which sucks).
Plan is: Zinc, Quercetin, Vit D, Vit C, sleep, drink more water, hot/cold showers, no fever reducers.
And seek medical help if shortness of breath.
Multivitimans do NOT work, because they mix water-soluble (B6, B12, C) and oil-soluble vitamins (D3, Omega-3, etc) together.
My old company has Zinc Sulfate Heptahydrate USP. You can buy it as long as you are a business (they do verify).
Coldeeze is a great option for Ionic Zinc, and it will kill rhinoviruses as long as you suck on it and dont drink liquid for 30 afterward.
You can get too much zinc from too many of those, though.
Not into corona virus cells, into the cells being attacked by CV
Exactly. You will have no issues. You are completely on top of it.
Recommended Daily Allowance: around 11mg.
Karl Denninger:
While zinc deficiency is not common in the US it can happen, especially in those who do not eat meat (it's plentiful in meats.) Zinc is a trace metal that is VERY possible to get too much of and it's very, very bad if you do; with a modest supplement it's safe, but using it as a gross supplement in an attempt to drive zinc serum levels is definitely not a good idea.
This is one of those "chloroquine phosphate" things. Be SURE you know what you're doing with zinc supplements.
Thanks for the info on copper, montag13.
I'll look into that.
Yes, actually 15mg under NORMAL conditions. But as a preventative/treatment for COVID-19, I would recommend 30-50mg min.
