Michelle Obama and Kerry Washington are imploring the public to avoid buying up all the WIC products in the rush to stockpile groceries during these unprecedented times of social distancing and self-quarantine.
WIC products (Special Supplemental Nutrition Program for Women, Infants, and Children) are designed to meet the nutritional and healthcare needs of low-income women, children under the age of five, and breastfeeding women.
The 43-year-old “Scandal” and Django Unchained actress took to Twitter to elucidate how important these items are for selected populations:

Former first lady Michelle Obama, 56, concurred with Washington’s sentiments and asked that fearful citizens nevertheless look out for their fellow Americans:

IF people would cease HOARDING staples, there would be PLENTY to go-around for everyone.
(Even families, with LOTS of kids, do NOT need ten big jars of peanut butter, jam, cartons of TP & paper towels, multiple gallons of cooking oil, etc.)

I go during Senior hour and the shelves have not been restocked so if there is one brand available you feel you lucked out. I usually only get about half of what I wanted.
I accept this because that’s what we do. If I had to eliminate WIC foods I would get nothing. These privileged women have no clue.

The shelves aren’t stocked in the non senior hours either. I think that’s a big reason people get multies when they actually do come.across.somethung plus theu want to eliminate the need to go back for a while.
Huge scam. I think they are just saying, “Hey Whitey, back off from the cheese and milk so Dequeshnitremeesha can get 10 gallons free to sell to neighbors.”
Because I have seen their grocery carts.
Now she did it. I am going out and buy in the morning. WIC is basic staples like dairy, dry and canned goods. Never hurts to have a few extra blocks of cheese in the freezer and beans and rice vacuum sealed for future use.
They have to present a separate WIC coupon for every food item. And these coupons have to be endorsed, and also the cashier has to approve it too. And the fat mamacita has to search through her sh*t sack to find each of the coupons. Invariably one of the coupons will not match the product and a discussion argument ensues.
This is wrong on so many levels. It is no surprise that the Mooch wants to kowtow to these invaders.

They act as if the number of products stamped WIC exactly matches the demand for WIC products.
That's a special kind of stupid.
I never even heard of WIC products before. Is this really a problem?
Why does she not donate a couple of million then.
So, if we bought up all the WIC products the program would be out of business?
