Went out to local sams club this afternoon for some additional items. Things I did notice inside the store. Many were wearing masks. Few were wearing gloves and only myself wearing goggles. I was getting plenty of looks. For the most part people were keeping their distance.
They were out of toilet paper and paper towels, most meats and low on laundry items. Everything else was pretty well stocked. Gas was 1.74 per gallon
I love sams because they have an app that I can scan my items and not have to stand at the checkout.
Got home and sprayed the non perishable items with a bleach solution. Freezer items were removed with fresh gloves and mask on. Placed in secondary freezer all outside of their original exterior packaging.
Aside from TP and paper towels, we will need them in about a month, I will not be heading back to the stores for grocery items.
“Problem is people rationalizing against it are likely to cause a lot of deaths if they get what they want, or just decide to do whatever.”
This needs to be repeated over and over and over again.
Man, I’m getting tired of these face mask articles.
China raped the world of face masks. There are no face masks for regular people, much less for medical staff.
I’ll say it again - there are no face masks for regular people.
So why are the talking heads on TV raising anxiety about facemasks? It’s intentional provoking and it’s cruel.
And only started after a racist article in the Lancet (three days ago now) that claimed westerners not wearing face masks made Chinese ‘visitors’ uncomfortable and was ‘stigmatizing’ towards Asians.
You want to talk facemasks? Put them in every corner store so people can buy them. Otherwise, the MSM needs to SHUT IT.

It’s SOP for a disinformation site to run at least twice as many cover stories as dirt stories.
it doesn’t matter if the ‘bat’ was from the area. What matters is a person infected by the bat traveled to the market. Or traveled to Wuhan the month prior when the older citizens were protesting for several days against the building of a waste disposal plant next to new housing. The bat lives in the area of China that produces mega veggies and flowers. Guess who needed flowers and veggies for their 40,000 families banquet?
Tucker isn’t quite up to speed yet. He tries hard tho
“Its SOP for a disinformation site to run at least twice as many cover stories as dirt stories.”
That’s why I only pay attention to the cover stories - as I often miss them as they’re otherwise scattered around different media outlets.
Works for me!

if you want to spend $10 bucks a mask that Nascar company is still making them. I ordered the $5 mask but since they quit making that version they have upgraded me.
“I dont even have enough pantry and refrigerator space for that.”
Get rice & beans, or mashed potatoes in a box and beans. Get whey protein powder, which is still widely available. And a multivitamin with minerals. Some water, which you can put in containers from the tap right now.
You can go months on that if you have to. More carbs than I personally would prefer, but you’ll have plenty of time to work it off exercising.
You can even probably order most of that for local delivery.
"I get why they refuse to accept whats happening, because to accept it basically means that you know everything that you used to do and know is gone. That is a tough realization to make."
yup. Having 100 airlifters 5 miles from my home on Feb 1, was my trigger. Done before they were paroled.
thankyou for the laugh to start my day. My sympathy meter for miss socialist is pegging at 0.1. She has the living conditions exactly matching what she preaches. But she should be fine - after all, for the last 10 years Michael Moore has been telling us how wonderful the Cuban medical system is.
High-risk people should wear N95 masks. Everyone else should wear cloth masks. High-risk means over 65 or anyone with one or more cormorbidities, save that, if hyper-tension is the only one, it’s not high and they’re under 40, cloth masks are okay.

Italys Coronavirus Death Toll Is Far Higher Than Reported
Many are dying unseen and uncounted as nations stretched health-care system struggles to save the living and accurately gauge the human cost

MILANIn the town of Coccaglio, an hours drive east of here, the local nursing home lost over a third of its residents in March. None of the 24 people who died there were tested for the new coronavirus. Nor were the 38 people who died in another nursing home in the nearby town of Lodi.
These arent isolated incidents. Italys official death toll from the virus stands at 13,155, the most of any country in the world. But that number tells only part of the story because many people who die from the virus dont make it to the...

This is only the CDC catching up to everyone else.
This kind of thing is why I don't want doctors running the country.* Sure, holding an on-site megachurch service is a special kind of stupid during this time, but don't we still have freedom of religion?
*As advisors (Dr. Fauci and Dr. Birx come to mind), definitely.
Thanks, do you have a link by chance?
