Went out to local sams club this afternoon for some additional items. Things I did notice inside the store. Many were wearing masks. Few were wearing gloves and only myself wearing goggles. I was getting plenty of looks. For the most part people were keeping their distance.

They were out of toilet paper and paper towels, most meats and low on laundry items. Everything else was pretty well stocked. Gas was 1.74 per gallon
I love sams because they have an app that I can scan my items and not have to stand at the checkout.

Got home and sprayed the non perishable items with a bleach solution. Freezer items were removed with fresh gloves and mask on. Placed in secondary freezer all outside of their original exterior packaging.

Aside from TP and paper towels, we will need them in about a month, I will not be heading back to the stores for grocery items.

My local Wally World was almost normal yesterday, except they were notably out of TP (wiped out still) and very low on other paper products. Almost anything for sanitizing & disinfecting also gone. Meats ok, canned goods and bakery goods low, baking goods low, rice, beans and other such staples low or out. Soda mostly in good supply, fruit juices low. Fresh produce and milk / dairy were in good supply. Aldi much the same story.

WalMart seemed to have about normal traffic for the time of day, Aldi was slow (but near closing time). Gas station (normally busy) was slow.

I saw one person beside myself in WM with a mask (I was wearing a scarf-over-mask), one with a scarf-as-mask, none elsewhere. One shopper wearing gloves, I think all employees were. No goggles anywhere or in previous trips, for that matter.
