First, there is news story on FoxNews today which has Dr. Oz requesting that Coumo from NY rescind his order that prevents doctors from treating with Hydroxychloroquine. New York, other than some poorly design study, is not treating with Hydroxychloroquine.

Michigan Hospital Treating with Hydroxychloroquine. The doctor states "As it is now, we feel that this is an important alternative ... this is an important option but there may be other options that are better to address the issue." I wonder, Alternative to what exactly? I see that as a tell, he's been told something else is coming, the $1,000 dollar pill, months from now, until then, don't do too well with HC. Finally, the doctor states "only the sickest patients are receiving the treatment" when the literature surrounding it's use states it should be started at the very first sign of respiratory symptoms. Not one word of them combining it with Zinc.

Nearly 1,000 died in the US yesterday. I would appear that they are not treating with HC in any widespread fashion and if they are they are waiting until it's too late and not combining with Zinc and/or Azithromycin.

Where is a copy of the email that has been sent to all hospitals that outline the treatment with HC? It doesn't exist, there is no coordinated effort to stem this tide using HC.

I guess it's just not working and Trump knows it, otherwise why the 100k low range for deaths.

I truly wish I could sit down with President Trump and let him know what we know. I know you think he knows it, and Fauci and the rest but they are not following the treatment that has lead to so much success, you have to treat BEFORE pneumonia set’s in. This mean no ventilator will be needed most likely, which reduces cost, exposure to doctors and nurses, it’s so smart to treat BEFORE pneumonia.

I really think it comes down to pride, have you ever told a doctor what you thought they had or recommend they treat with you a certain drug? They freakin’ hate that, they’re the experts.

Well, all I can do is prey now. Ten’s of thousands are going to die needlessly, how tragic. This will probably go down as one of the largest preventable disasters this nation has ever incurred. First, by not shutting down plane travel, second, by not treating this disease with the recommendations that have already proven to be very effective. So many lives ruined.

EXACTLY- the ‘powers that be’ Are farting around with people’s lives- 1000’s of families are now minus their loved ones because we aren’t using EVERY option available NOW- And the public seems to be just ho hum about it all- Why? Because they personally aren’t affected-

You can bet whenever the ‘powers that be’, or their family members or their personal friends get the virus, the first thing they get is Hydroxychloroquine- while we, Joe Q public, has to be told there isn’t enough medicine, there isn’t enough research into the medicine-

1000’s are dying unnecessarily- and it’s the states government’s fault- those that are denying the use of Hydroxychloroquine or severely restricting it’s use-

Will there be more effective drugs? Perhaps- but we have to use what is available NOW- it is immoral to delay this any further given the reams of anecdotal studies and clinical trials that are and have been done already- showing very effective results-

The editors of the NEJM are well aware of the public’s concern. NEJM has had THE HIGHEST reputation of any medical publication since 1811. That’s right 200 YEARS. They aren’t a “throw away”. Most of their editors are Chairmen at Mass General. I’m sure they are well aware of Dr Raoult’s work and more than a few are familiar with his reputation.

In this time of National Crisis I’m sure if Raoult convinced them they will step up today.

Self Q’ed in her apartment for four days before calling her boss and asking for help as she had a fever and was very short of breath. Her boss arrived, took her in his car while he wore PPE to the hospital. They gave her high volume O2 which helped. They ICUed her and immediately gave her HCQ and ZPack which continued for five days. On day 6 she was released to return home. This was ten days ago. So two weeks ago a Brooklyn hospital used HCQ as a first treatment in ICU.”

we should not disregard the rest of the analysis

You don't really understand statistical analysis and empirical data, do you? You can't rely upon any "chart" that takes all state's data and gives an average.

This is a chart that breaks it down state by state.

In that chart, it averages New York with, for example, Alaska. New York has ~80,000 active cases with ~2,000 deaths. Alaska has 130 cases with 3 deaths.

You want to take that average and then tell Alaska that's what they can expect? You want to take that chart and contend it's representative of the USA in general?

When the crisis first hit, the New York dweeb in charge of the health department told New Yorkers to ignore the "hype" and get out and enjoy the city. Specifically, he told everybody to head to Chinatown to celebrate the Lunatic New Year parade and party.

The subways are still packed. It's like they have a death wish, and it's not representative of the USA at large. But that's the picture your charts portray.
