After seeing the current stats on negative vs positive virus tests in NM we are wondering if it is reasonable to drive into Albuquerque to replenish our stock of tp and food. We live 60 miles southeast of Abq so it is not a trip just to pick up milk. We do not have a crisis but are both at risk, 80 years old with diabetes or asthma, so we are very prudent about shopping now. We go to Smiths, Albertsons, Walmart, and Costco. Would somebody please advise us as to the current (3/28) condition of the stores? Thank you so very much.

Y’all are about three hours away from me. If I lived closer to y’all, I would be glad to get some supplies for y’all.

If you run out of TP, do like the mighty men of old. Use your fingers.

I got lucky and found some at Walmart earlier in the week. Supermarkets have been sold out since this started. Even paper towels and tissues.

Just checked with my local store. No TP and of there is there is s limit of two packages per day. Few napkins but everything else was stocked except hand sanitizer.

Liquor store close by was fully stocked with drinkable “hand sanitizer”.

In my area of SC, we cannot get any paper products, ground beef or rice. Pasta is somewhat scarce as well. At least at my local stores.

The Walmart in Gulf Shores, Alabama is fully stocked with everything. It's just like any other day. You stay right there though. We don't want everybody coming down here.

About 10 packages of TP in the local Walgreens today. Probably gone by now.

If there’s a WinCo near you I’d try there first.

No credit cards, which keeps the hoarding to a minimum.

I went into Costco today. There was a sign at the entrance listing items not available. It was about half a dozen items but toilet paper wasn’t on the list. I didn’t need to get toilet paper so I didn’t check to be sure but that is my report from the front lines so to speak.

Go to online shopping at the store you want to go to. We ordered food today that we will have to wait until tomorrow to pick up. The store is that busy. We ordered and paid on line.

We will drive into the parking lot and they will put the groceries in the back. We don’t have to get out of the vehicle.

If you can’t get online, call them to see how they can help and what they have.

Our local rural store (fairly large all in one shopping) had set aside the first hour in the morning for elderly. I was going to go in but we are getting cases of the virus in our community, thanks to the tourists not honoring the quarantine. My wife would probably not survive if she got it, so I will take no chances.

Say goodbye to TP!

They got a bit sidetracked on making those dang complicated ventilators, but GM has now gotten together with the Dyson Vacuum Cleaner Company, and they are jointly working on a new machine to make TP obsolete.   (Make sure when you get one, that you get enough hoses for the entire family, so you have one for each TP user!)
