I have two friends like this. One of them is a person who has a noticeable need to socialize.
Nothing can convince him this is real. It’s all to get Trump. He went to Orlando this weekend to spend his birthday with his squeeze.
At some point everything gets personal.
What would be most likely to convince him would have been if his squeeze told him to stay away....
I have told the story here that my wife always thought I was a crazy prepper until that day earlier this month when she walked into Walmart and saw the empty paper products aisle.

Knowing there was no way to convince him, right before he left, I said hey, I can’t think of any better way to spend The Apocalypse than in the arms of my baby on my birthday, and then off he went.

This virus is diabolically insidious in it’s latent properties, which disarms the population, lulling it into a sense of complacency, and security, while having the potential to infect just about everyone in it’s path.
Glad to hear that you and yours are in good condition and spirits, and your neighbors are too.
Our local Circle K, put warning tape on the floor at six foot intervals, and posted signs that they would no longer permit customers to fill personal beverage containers.
Other than that, not much else to report from the home front.
Might cook up some chicken wings in the deep fryer later tonight.

Arizona Hospital System Tells Employees They Can Wear ‘Social Comfort Masks”
As the biggest hospital system in Arizona rations masks for doctors and nurses, its executives are now telling staff that the wear “social comfort masks” so that they “feel comfortable as they care for their patients.”
Banner Health “does not endorse” those masks as preventing the transmission of diseases like COVID-19, Dr. Marjorie Bessel, the company’s chief clinical officer, told staff Monday morning in an email, which was obtained by Phoenix New Times.
