I have been beating this drum for a while, but we have seen pictures of Xi in a biosuit, Putin in a biosuit.

President Trump needs to do this!

Asymptomatics are not a significant source for casual spread.
They may well be for close, intimate, contact though.
As in a family situation.
Have no source for that, just a general impression.

Some people will not obey. These people are not obeying any of the other loose rules, so why should they obey an unforced quarantine?

I would hate a forced quarantine. It would make me feel trapped, even though I have no place to go anyway. And when would it ever be lifted?

Are you taking into account, UNPRECEDENTED mitigation measures? That was the point of my commentary in my first post to you.

Again, I ask, why are you starting the count today? The gun went off 32 days ago, and really, no one knows when to say that this day or that day is the day, to start a fair calculation, because the dynamics are off the wall.

We have hot spots and cool spots... huge land masses with low population counts and a few high population centers with temperatures rising, versus... high population centers raging on fire.

Just asking...

I cant answer that but I can tell you that while Patient 0 tested negative for whatever reason while laying in a hospital bed....they have assumed he was shedding the virus based on test results of which I dont remember what they were. New England Journal of Medicine

From what I have been reading the asymptomatics are not a significant source for causal spread for the first couple of days, then each day their spread potential increases...

I have not seen a study that quantifies how that works, exactly (doubling, tripling each day, whatever...).

There are not that many ambulances. I can hear them from my apartment and they haven’t increased noticeably since the start of this thing.

I don’t know the reason why. I think there are places you can go if you have symptoms, and ambulances are just for those in dire straits.

I would guess if people don’t go to the hospital until they need an ambulance, except in inner cities where they don’t have cars, it will often be too serious for recovery.

"Sewage water as indicator for spreading of COVID-19"

"Microbiologists at research institute KWR conducted a series of RNA-analyses at municipal waste water treatment plants (WWTP) in the Netherlands. The analyses showed the presence of RNA gene fragments of the COVID-19 virus in the influent water."

"According to KWR the screening of the COVID-19 virus at municipal waste water plants can be used to signal new outbreaks in advance and play an important role to follow the evolution of the pandemic."

Thanks for the explanation—you are in Manhattan, right?

I had heard stories of ambulances making a racket in Brooklyn and Queens, I think.

Your lungs don’t produce ACE-2 receptors. The receptors are just there, like fingerprints are on fingers.

Do you understand why people on ace inhibitors are thought to perhaps have more of a problem

I cant wrap my head around the explanation of it.
