He can do what he wants in NYC, but the rest of us out here in America will either continue working or will be going back to work very soon.
DeBlasio is absolutely nuts.
All states do not have to be on an extended lockdown.
The hardest hit states? Maybe. The rest of us? HELL NO.
When a state peaks and the curve flattens, common sense should take over.
DeBlasio is a crazy lunatic. Even the people of NY are sick and tired of him and want him gone ASAP.
We wouldn’t even have a country if Gen Washington had ordered his troops to stay home when half of them were sick and dying.
Time to close off
NYC, LA, SF, NOLA and other hot spots cities. Let the rest of us live our lives with caution. Keep our pharmacies filled with the antidote and test kits!
All of the citizens of New York will be in Florida by then.
It;s clear that Gov. Cuomo has no use for deBlasio.

How can masks be in short supply in NYC?
19 years ago we suffered the single most tragic day in this nation during our generation; 9-11. During the immediate aftermath there was concern the rescue workers at Ground Zero did not have enough masks and did not have the proper masks.
Given the experience of 9-11, why is NYC and NY caught short handed on masks this time around??

This is a dream come true for DeBlasio, positive press in his faltering melting pot. Cuomo is getting over an hour of campaigning, doing his daily folksy chicken soup ramblings (would love to know his secret polling numbers). He needs to get off the stage, walk away from the camera and spend his time working to help stop his out of control state from burning.
Ugh. New York gives us Cuomo, Warren Wilhelm Duhblassio, Spitzer, Nadler, Schumer. They are as popular as a wet fart to the rest of the country.
They are impossible to listen to, condescending, and obnoxious.
Cuomo talked about “no life is expandable” in reference to his mother. This is the same murderous fiend who approved abortion up to the day of birth.
Some people say nature culls the herd from time to time. Who can say what’s going on.
Maybe NYC but some of us have plans for other areas.
He was also calling for the government to commandeer all industry in the U.S. and to mobilize the military.
He wants communism now I guess.
If the economy remains shut down and a depression...or even a dark age...ensues, then I guess we will get communism, or one of its cousins, by default.
We might lose a couple million and see the health care system overwhelmed. With an American collapse...it’s economy keeps Western Society intact...we will not only lose at least that many lives, maybe many multiples of that many lives when our cities turn into violent Hell-zones and many different civil wars break out. Poverty with no chance, no hope , no food, no homes and no supply chain creates violence writ large. And the precious health care system won’t work then either.
And with an America with no economy and in violent civil conflict, how long until the communist Chinese become our saviors? They are willing to sacrifice not millions, but hundreds of millions if necessary, in order to become the one sole superpower on Earth. They can, and they will. Ready to become a ward, or a slave, to your Chinese masters? Kill off our economy and you will get the opportunity.
Same for CNY and the Finger Lakes Region.

Agreed. Traffic here today was barely sub-normal, UPS is burning up the sky, the drive-thrus are doing great business, everyone seems chill and willing to internally measure personal space (it helps that most of us here are of German-American descent and already inclined to give 3 feet). A Mini-Cooper did some fantastic powered-on drifting donuts in a closed DQ parking lot for entertainment earlier...
