A kid who licked toilets as part of the #CoronaVirusChallenge says he's now in the hospital with coronavirus. @gayshawnmendes was also just suspended from twitter
I cheated death again as well, and finally got to the thrift store to drop off a load of stuff so I can begin filling the cargo area with more stuff. It’s a relief to know I will have much less to pack, this time.
Now, if I can just get an appointment with an attorney for the PoA and the Simple Will, I’ll be good to go!
Ah, the old roundabout. That’s what you get when you cross an automobile body repair company with a legislature. Guaranteed work.
If I turn off the traction control on my Expedition, I can get her to drift an entire circle...
Er...
Hypothetically.
Yeah... Hypothetically...
St George has traffic circles/roundabouts/roundy-rounds but only in the ritzier ‘hoods. City fathers’ way of reducing crime by making high speed chases a thing for stand-up comics.
I hate the things myself, and think they’re evil. NOT hypothetically. ;o]

MRNO ducks.

O! MR ducks.
Ya oughta take a drive over to Ivins. Coming in from the highway on Snow Canyon Parkway you’ll think you’re driving through Palm Desert with all the gated condo communities.
Wife’s Dad was born in Ivins, and we had talked of him taking residence at the fairly new VA Southern Utah Veteran’s Home out there but things didn’t go on that long.
Cheated Death Again: Gets Dark at Night
Pat drove me over to the Envirothon coordinator’s house, where James and Vlad were doing a thing with the other high schoolers. And then back.
We all lived.
I don’t know if I could handle Ivins, now. When I lived there is was just red clay that got into everything, and most of the houses were manufactured homes. There was a minimart that housed the general store and the post office.
It was such a small close-knit community that my Favorite Son, who was in the army at Ft Carson CO, sent a letter addressed to “Mom” and I got it. I still have it!
With the growth on the old road (Telegraph) and the growth here in Hurricane, I don’t know if I could bear to see Ivins and Santa Clara. My BiL spends time at the new VA in Ivins, but I’ve only seen photos of it.
This area is growing too fast.
U R FNE GIS!
What a bright-eyed little morning floof!
Good morning.
I think I got four hours of sleep last night. Maybe five. I feel as though the Chinese army marched over me barefoot and left their dirty socks behind.
My ballot came.
Also, for whatever reason, it seems a bunch of my checks have not been presented for payment, and I have no idea what to do about that. That’s never happened before. Ever.
Oh, dear. I suppose there’s not much you can do until Monday, since businesses and banks are closed. Maybe things will have cleared up by Monday.
All I can do is wait and see. I don’t like calling any businesses on Monday because of the wait time before I get connected to a person, so it will be Tuesday before I’ll find out what the deal is. Maybe if they know the check numbers and the amounts, they’ll cut me some slack and waive any “late” fees.
But it’s been almost three weeks!!
Good morning, O bringer of Kitties.
Hope all is well in the world.
Out and about this morrow.
See yall later.
Howdy, O healthy one on the Isles of the Sea!
I hope your day is awesome!
Howya!
I’m about to have choir practice, and then there will be other things, like a Patrick Driving Adventure.
I had a Driving Adventure to Walmart and back, in search of a vest to help me stay warm. It worked! First impulse was to get a bright red one, but I opted for an oyster gray to match the coat I got on sale for $5. The difference in my comfort level is astounding!
I have to go out again later because I have to go to Walgreen’s. Not my choice, but...
Patrick has wandered off, mumbling, instead of getting a meal and turning up for a Driving Adventure.
We don’t call him “the skinny, weird one” for nothing.
