The purpose of the “Bring Out Your Dead” ping list (formerly the “Ebola” ping list) is very early warning of emerging pandemics, as such it has a high false positive rate.
The false positive rate was 100%.
At some point we may well have a high mortality pandemic, and likely as not the “Bring Out Your Dead” threads will miss the beginning entirely.
*sigh* Such is life, and death...
If a quarantine saves just one child's or one old fart’s life, it's worth it.

Dallas, Texas – Starting at noon on Monday, March 23, the two COVID-19 testing sites in Dallas are updating criteria and lifting the age restriction to test more North Texans.
Criteria for testing sites is as follows:
Shortness of breath
Cough
Must show a temperature of 99.6 or higher
The sites operate daily from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. and are located at:
American Airlines Center, Parking Lot E, 2500 Victory Plaza
Ellis Davis Field House, 9191 S Polk St.

So, they are going to expose room cleaners and other hotel workers to all those sick people? I’m sure you won’t find any of the people making this decision at these hotels.
Per KSTP-TV in Minneapolis-St. Paul, the Minnesota Department of health is now reporting 235 confirmed positive tests for COVID-19.
That is an increase of 66 cases from yesterday.
No demographic info (age, gender, etc) is available and no mention of how many have been hospitalized or are in ICU.

Montgomery County has the most cases in Pennsylvania. A 72 year old man from my town died on Saturday.

People prove every day how stupid they are.
Hope the burger flipper, the fry girl, the drink person and the cashier aren’t infected. Hope that after they wasted gas waiting in line that when they have to fill up sooner, the handle isn’t contaminated. Hope they don’t have a fender bender and have to call the cops out and then exchange insurance that one of the isn’t a super spreader. Hope while they’re in line they don’t think of another errand they simply must run and pick up CV there.
