Brazil getting Chinees test kits- very inaccurate.
By the time they get them they’ll wish they had the US kits.
I remember this, as a kid.
The checklist.
We loved helping mom with that :)
I froze about 2 Gal of cream or half and half, a month ago.

They get them...and, three hours later...a different result.

Is that bad?
What about Medicaid funded home health? Would that help? Is that even a possibility?
Serious.
A friend did this, recently. Says docs are better and supplies arrive on schedule.
Just to give you guys an update, loss of smell and taste is definitely one of the symptoms, havent been able to smell anything for the last 4 days, Gobert wrote. Anyone experiencing the same thing?

This is such a wacky virus. It presents itself in all kinds of ways and you can’t even be sure you dont have it when you get a Negative test result
first off, and I’ll try to practice what I preach, get as much sleep as you can. It sounds like you’d make a great tele-tutor for elementary math maybe 2-4th grade. Check out some home-schooling videos age-ranges. But don’t think because videos are already out there that parents won’t want a live person. They will because that keeps kids attention. Also, dig deeper into the Amazon thing. If you’re low density, they might want to use you as a drop point, delivery person. You could use your plumbing and electrical skills to help people turn she-sheds or garages into safe quarantine sheds. Like a $50-$100 consult or whatever. Even on safe greenhouses. A lot of areas have like a craigslist or a neighborhood online community where you can make connections. Think outside the box and you’ll find something that will help provide extra income. You’re a FReeper after all. We’re movers and shakers by nature. My best to your mom, btw. I can tell she’s very precious to you and you to her. :)
In young patients, they do not have any significant symptoms such as the cough and fever, but they may have just the loss of sense of smell and taste, the associations president, professor Nirmal Kumar, told Sky News.

Nice chart on “social distancing”.
Even imperfect, it helps a lot.
I live in a tiny California rural town and we are over-run with flatlanders as we call them. We already have thinly stretched medical services. Usually if something is seriously wrong, they pack you up in an ambulance and send you off a few hours away for care. I wonder what’s going to happen to all of us when the virus arrives with our visitors.
Don’t forget Vitamin C is suggested as effective in reducing the systemic cytokine storm that may be the prime cause of Covid-19 mortality. It is a known anti-inflammatory and helps production of white blood cells for the immune system. I have also found that when I took or gave large doses for a high fever it always dropped about 2 degrees, like for 103 to 101.
Thanks!
If treatments are effective then deaths won’t tell me what I thought they would, but it’ll be a good ‘disappointment’!
I found both vids to be sickening. Why the heck do they not kill things before eating or cooking? That’s just awful.
Spain looks to be fairly constant, we look to be increasing still.
Yep. I’m kinda worried about that.
Bingo.
Now do organ transplant donations *cough* involuntary *cough* possibly without anaesthetic *cough*.
Now say “Coronavirus is a bioweapon.”
New deaths / total deaths will plunge, and you'll see it show up in the numbers almost immediately.
Yeah, we have a meat market several miles from us - “closer to town” than us, but also several miles “out” from town (~25k pop.). They also process deer, sell sometimes, but mostly they sell “half hogs”, “beef sides”, ground beef in 20 lb. packages, etc. Their parking lot has been full every time I go by. Their Facebook page says they are swamped with business.
Then there’s a small IGA 10(?) miles “out”, in a little bit different direction. Prices there are quite high, except for sale items, but they’ve been struggling to keep up, too.
That said, stores are imposing quantity limits, and I think this “buying panic” for food & most daily necessities will soon have run its course. Tylenol? Well, I’m not sure, and I mean that in both a serious and a joking way.
The coronavirus has affinity to bind with three different human receptors. It combines the reproductive machinery of SARS with the binding of several other viruses, including Ebola and/or AIDS...
not a joke, not panic mongering.
