What are families doing and what are plans during this odd time.
I am in house and keeping busy. Summer in the south.. already.
Self-quarantining (had flown), so gonna watch one pandemic flick each night with adult beverages...Contagion, Quarantine, Resident Evil X, The Flu, World War Z, Doomsday, I Am Legend, Black Death, The Omega Man, Patient Zero, Outbreak, The Crazies, 28 Weeks Later, The Last Days, Carriers, Virus, The Last Man on Earth, Epidemic, Twelve Monkeys, The Andromeda Strain, The Seventh Seal, Blindness...so many choices!
The only thing certain is death and taxes.
With guarantees like that, I don't need any more.
Vodka soda, fixing a tube amp. Wife’s making bibs for grandkid. No problem.
I’m the facility break/fix techno-flunky.
Supposedly me and the other guy who supports applications are supposed to rotate working from home.
I expect to be in the office since I know my friends and how they break things.
No mention of any cuts in the rumor mill.
Bicycle riding, golf,TV, booze and chinese food curbside takeout. TV doesn’t have any sports so I’ve watched way too many awful Arnold movies. Elysium (Matt Damon and Jodie Foster) last night. Truly terrible.
Me too.
Yes I’ve been gardening some out in warm weather this week, and it’s COLD today. Supposed to warm up some. I just want to be outside in the sunshine with the flowers and birds and butterflies. They don’t know all of this is going on and are just going about their happy little lives. It cheers me up a lot.
“At least if I die from the Coronavirus, Ill be wearing clean underwear.”
One of the symptoms that presents is diarrhea, so don’t count on it.
I look at this as similar to The Walking Dead and imagine these walkers look and sound normal and they don’t have to bite you to infect you.
That scares me a little, so I even look suspiciously at my wife!(/just kidding about the wife thingy)

I wasn’t being serious there, but yeah, the things we do know are certain in life aren’t always pleasant.
Bourbon, cigars and working from home ...oh and my Family with me.
Leme tell you about the time as kid, skating in winter at a pond we burned Sumack to keep warm.
Think you know the end result.
Thank you! We will get through this.
DIL is in 1st year nursing school that is only doing book work online. With 1, 2 1/2 yr old hyper not potty trained. Who needs to be potty trained before she brings her back to Grandma.
Who has turned into a Guinea Pig for those Type 2 CHINESE DIABETIC DRUGS. 99% have same crap side effects. Legs up from swelling, horrid cramps in hands, feet, painful joints, severe REFLUX. This 3rd is his last try.
NAVY base has put taped X’S every 3 ft, guard at gate uses his hand scanner from 3 feet. Pharmacy is worse. Expect Commissary is even worse.
Not much different yet. Sunday will be the biggest change and it will be nice.
24/7 Zombie and apocalypse movies
LMAO. Before I even finished reading that post I knew who wrote it.
Not really lucky, part of a 10 year plan. Figured out 20 years that big cities were going to keep getting worse, moved to the “country” 10 years ago. Best decision ever. Some friends still love the city life and I get that too.
“Learning to code.”
Are you a coal miner, perchance?
I saw where NYC is keeping laundromats open, during their shutdown.
Your post reminded me of that.
Take care....enjoy the walks, bistros, etc., for those who may not be able to.
