On Thursday, Shelby County Health Department Director Alisa Haushalter said the department was still investigating the second Shelby County case a person who returned from New Orleans around the same time as the county’s first confirmed case.
The two traveled to Mardi Gras celebrations together, she said. The second person has been in quarantine since contacting the first case and is not hospitalized. The first person is doing well.
Can’t stand games. Just not sure what the wife would think if I came home with a pickup truck load of beer. Come to thin of it, our place has a crawl space.
Thought it was emphasizing.
My wife was reminding me of how I over-prepared for Y2K and how I was “at it again”...
until last night, when her church contacted her to cancel the services.
_Now_ she gets it.

Whee.
One school district here hasn’t said a word about CV. Tomorrow is the last day before Spring Break so we’ll see if they open back up after.
Another district has a travel form and looks like they’ll make students stay home for 14 days after Spring Break.
And this is the tripe my organization sent out today to its members. Western Fair Assocation. I understand that the Colorado River Fair, (Blythe, CA) closed today. Houston Stock show already closed...that event was ongoing. This will be a blooding mess. The Puyallup Spring Fair in Washington state is doubtful.
We are talking about thousands of people that do fairs across the nation..and all the employees...all the auxiliary spending...It is a small town that rises up from the ground when the fair comes to town.
In Tucson...RCS carnival provides a beauttiful cookhouse. Viv has great food at decent prices for us fair folks...Not open to the public...just for us showfolk...Love their canteloupe drink....very refreshing in the morning.
What a freaking mess...who would have thought life would be interupted by the plague?

Austin - rodeo has been cancelled.
A big fat raspberry to Gobert.
Sadly.
We need to shut it all down quickly so the medical establishment can keep up or it’s going to hurt badly.
Will post the updated spreadsheet at 9:30 Eastern time
Yeah, I need to lace an order with Baker Creek. They’re about 110 miles from me so their seeds ought to be acclimated pretty well for this area. I did pick up some seed potatoes and onion sets today. Got another peach tree a week ago.
