In Italy Chiron Corporation distributed the SARS vaccine. I don't know how many where distributed in Italy.
In the US the FDA stripped the Chiron Corporation of it's license to distribute any vaccines in the US and was bought out two years later(out of business)
South Korea didn't get this vaccine. In the US only Maryland it was distributed I believe by clinical testing.

Our Sam’s Club was packed last Sunday but not panic buying.

Self-quarantined on my WV organic farm. 2 year supply (no joke) of fresh, fresh frozen, canned, dehydrated foods from 60 or so different varieties I grow each year. You name it I have it. Just put in seedlings and seeds for the growing season. Garlic coming up looks great. Wife does the herbs, fire cider, makes kefir, yogurt, kombucha, etc. all the wood I need for heat. Plenty of water in the river and springs. Fresh eggs every day. Honey from the bees she keeps. Just had Guinness venison stew with dumplings. You have to ford the river to get here. 300 yard defensible perimeter. I stay home mostly. Wife does the gallivanting but can’t think of anything we need. Did buy Everclear though, I guess I’ll have to steam up some shine this year.

“Fort Bend County health officials announced Sunday that three more residents have been identified as infected with the new coronavirus, bringing the region’s total to 11.
Officials said the three residents are all in good health and kept in isolation at their homes. Two patients were among the 17 Houston-area residents who returned in late February from the same Nile River cruise in Egypt, while one patient took the same cruise at a later date.”

My dad, in an assisted living place in Florida, is wondering why they are not at least taking temps of visitors such as myself.
I think it’s obvious our national strategy is that it is inevitable most people will get it and we are better off if most people go ahead and get it now. We can slow it somewhat, but we really want all regions getting it about tithe same time.
As far as stopping things like cruise ships or sporting events, that really just starts us down the road of stopping almost everything, which is unacceptable. It doesn’t seem like they want to slow it down that much anyway.
I wonder what the real estimates they have on their desk are. I’d guess 60-80% infected by year end,

Evan Hurley, a 9-year veteran with Kirkland Fire and a union trustee, said a firefighter relayed this story: On Friday, February 28, the firefighter arrived at Life Care, walked in, and saw a charge nurse in just her scrubs. No mask, no protective gown.
“Hey, you guys are supposed to be in self-quarantine,” the firefighter said.
“No, we’re not,” the nurse replied.
“Well, our chain of command talked to your management, and they say something different.”
The nurse insisted; she hadn’t heard anything, she said.
The firefighter looked down the hall and saw two caregivers in scrubs -- no mask or gown.
“What the hell?” the firefighter thought. “Who is not telling you that you have two suspected coronavirus cases?”
Later the nurse and firefighters would learn that it was more than just two suspected cases: Two people from Life Care had died the week before from coronavirus. Eight more who had spent time at Life Care would die in the following week.

What is the incubation period from exposure until symptoms show?
When does the virus shed and when are you contagious?
Between last thread and this one, I now have nearly 1500 unread posts. Reading these threads is unsustainable for me (and, no doubt, for others as well).
I’m most interested in relevant news updates, like those found in these threads. Are there some reliable places online that offer mainly those updates, with at most a limited amount of insightful discussion?
