Turns out he’s probably ‘owned’ by the chicoms. In a very...’particular’... way:

"If Joe Biden were a doctor..." you mean?

When an old person dies, a library burns.

Sounds like the ‘suggestion’ comes first, then the official ‘ban’.

Right now, NY is ‘suggesting’ the millions living there not take the subway.

“I am looking at the fact they tested over 150000 people for the virus. My numbers were base off the number of confirm cases and death count. That will change but at the time of the writing, it calculated to 0.7% not the 3.5% WHO is stated. Yes the unresolved cases could turn to a death, but they could find more people who test positive.”

But some of those new cases will likely die as well. We can only base rates on known cases. I don’t think we hit 3.4% unless the health care system collapses somewhere and I think we’re on top of it in the US well enough to pile on resources where needed. The WHO number is including the Chinese stats which the WHO must include for political reasons. I also expect that very few countries will handle it as well as S. Korea. We might be one of them.

I just don’t see the argument that the US will have a significantly better survival rate. As long as neither country’s health care system collapses, the outcomes should be very similar.

However, things don’t look so good in Italy. Lombardy is saturated and on the verge of collapse. If Italy does not pour resources into it the death rate could skyrocket. It’s pretty grim already, 5% of identified cases and 37% of all resolved cases are deaths for Italy as a whole. The final number is going to be somewhere in between and that certainly is worse than 3.4%. Even finding more cases to dilute those stats is still bad news.

So we still have a long way to go.

thanks PA. That’s where testing after 14 days comes in.

The CDC needs to walk down the streets of Beijing without a mask. China says it’s important. They have the most experience.

One school in Tacoma has announced a closure (not the UW, an elementary school). One person on the staff tested positive.

STATEN ISLAND, N.Y. — The first case of the coronavirus (COVID-19) on Staten Island was confirmed Monday, according to an internal Staten Island University Hospital (SIUH) memo obtained by the Advance/SiLive.com...

A source with knowledge of the case said the individual is an adult patient who came into the hospital exhibiting symptoms over the weekend.

Hubby made the same comment, tonight.

After Tucker’s show, Hannity came on and completely downplayed the CV....again, another comparison to the ‘it’s like the flu’....it was like Twilight Zone, after watching Tucker’s excellent and honest program.

Anywho...Hannity also mentioned the ‘it’s primarily affecting those 60 and older’ meme. Hubby looked at me and asked, Why are they repeating, over and over, that the threat is mostly to those over 60?? Like they’re minimalizing that age group. What, do they have no value/importance? How old is Hannity, btw??

I looked it up...Hannity is 58....so, I guess he thinks this cannot/will not be a problem, for him.

Amazing that they keep repeating this ‘primarily affects those (poor, useless) 60 and over’....line. Look at the age of our POTUS/VP/Speaker/MOST in Congress/the docs on the CV team, etc.

All they had to do was send out a national bulletin about asympiotic cov19 spread and people would have taken notice. I think....maybe....

In a statement, a spokesperson for Fulton County Schools says that they were told Monday at 11 a.m. by the Fulton County Department of Health that they have an itinerant teacher with a confirmed case of coronavirus.

“The teacher fell ill at work on Friday and the staff called 911. The teacher was transported to a local hospital from Bear Creek middle school. There was enough concern about the employee’s status that they thought the employee was having some other kind of medical emergency,” Dr. Looney told reporters. He declined to describe the employee’s symptoms but said they were very serious.

“I can say with certainty that within this process, this particular employee had a lot of contact with the students that he or she serves and also with additional staff members,” Looney said.

“When an old person dies, a library burns.”

When a old person dies that’s one less person who has actually been to a library or can read and write.
