SEOUL (Reuters) - South Korea’s coronavirus cases jumped above 7,000 on Saturday, up by 448 from the previous day, with more than half of the total number linked to a secretive church at the center of the country’s outbreak, health authorities said.

A commentary article published in The Lancet concludes that, based on evidence from previous outbreaks of similar types of infection such as SARS, steroids provide little benefit to patients and could do more harm than good. They say that clinicians should still administer the treatment for conditions such as asthma and other inflammatory diseases.

“One patient with a complaint of “intermittent diarrhea, vomiting for 6 days, fever with shortness of breath for half a day” was referred to the Department of Critical Medicine, Wuhan Children’s Hospital, and was diagnosed with neonatal severe coronavirus pneumonia (NCP). Relevant databases such as China Knowledge Net, Weipu, Wanfang and other related databases were searched with the keywords of “new coronavirus pneumonia”, “children”, and “critical severity” as of February 8, 2020. No reports have been reported. This case is the first child with severe NCP in China. It started with gastrointestinal symptoms, early respiratory symptoms were not obvious, and rapidly progressed to acute respiratory distress syndrome, septic shock, and acute renal failure. The patient was negative for nucleic acid test of 2019 new-type coronavirus (2019-nCoV) for 2 consecutive consecutive throat swabs. For severe suspected cases, it is recommended to take samples of the lower respiratory tract or repeat samples of the upper respiratory tract for testing. Continuous blood purification technology can be applied to the treatment of children with severe NCP as early as possible. “

I’m convinced of something now that I didn’t believe before.
They, the denying masses, and large, certain groups of people among us, are going to hang on to their narratives till the bitter end.
If it was 10% kids die, they’d say it’s only 10%, media is stirring panic.
If they are used to seeing everything in terms of gender, race, or sexual identity, they are going to continue to see things and talk about things in that way no matter what happens.
Certain people are going to make it all about politics. You could have 50% death rate and they’d still be blaming the other side.
I could go on and on with examples.
It’s like they are the programmed characters in a video game. There is no reason behind the will, they just operate on the software program they are loaded with.

They make a huge difference
Rabbit comes with different filters. I think i use the germ one. Not sure it helps wth flu though.
But the cost of filters almost as much as the unit in some cases
