This is a reminder not to dismiss the possibility of children getting severe illness.
Im convinced of something now that I didnt believe before.
They, the denying masses, and large, certain groups of people among us, are going to hang on to their narratives till the bitter end.
If it was 10% kids die, theyd say its only 10%, media is stirring panic.
If they are used to seeing everything in terms of gender, race, or sexual identity, they are going to continue to see things and talk about things in that way no matter what happens.
Certain people are going to make it all about politics. You could have 50% death rate and theyd still be blaming the other side.
I could go on and on with examples.
Its like they are the programmed characters in a video game. There is no reason behind the will, they just operate on the software program they are loaded with.
Agreed, you nailed it on the head

Buster—Great post about the “narrative”.
It is really a form of denial.
When we see it on the left we call it virtue signaling.
I am special and cool and the other guy is a Neanderthal and evil.
It has been very disappointing and irritating to see it here.
But—I think it is curable.
We have to gently but firmly point out facts that contradict the narrative—over and over and over again.
(Thinking about the posters here that refused to the believe the quarantines in Italy were real. They thought they were just an invention of the Trump hating mass media—like wtf?)
We are all human. We all have flaws. So does everybody else.
This is a great teaching moment—for everybody. (Some learn more quickly than others. ;-) )
