Why are all these teachers going on trips? Here, they’re supposed to schedule vacations only during the summer and holidays when school is not in session.

Sounds like many (even here) are falling into the ‘over 60/useless eaters’ lefty mantra.
That doesn’t mean they (the older folks) are spreaders....it just means they are more vunerable to dying, from this.
Next pandemic could be the 20-40 set, are the ones more vunerable. Do we ban them from ... travel....socializing....etc?
ABC is dedicating at 9:00 PM their 20-20 program to the corona. On in about 15 minutes

In the NE (and, maybe other areas) they get Winter Break.
It’s in addition to Christmas and Spring break.
Texas teachers have it ruff. :)
Old folks staying at home keeps them alive during something like this.
The roulette gun has more bullets in it if you’re over 60. Why chance it for a bridge game or something similarly trivial?

The super spreaders might be the young that are testing negative ..like patient 0...shedding the virus and going about their merry way.
That is a good way to design a bioweapon. You don’t want to kill off the person. You want it to spread and create chaos.

I’ve got a relative who is a dyed in the wool malignant narcissist.
Dealing with her is very frustrating, it’s really all about her.
‘But I’m not going anywhere’.
‘you just told me you went to the grocery store.’
‘but i had to have milk’
‘couldn’t you just do without or get some of the shelf stable milk?’
‘those shelf stable milks are too expensive and i have to have my milk’
‘what if you’re infected, would you want to know that you might have spread it to someone who might get really sick from it?’
‘well, if they got it from me they’d just as well get it from somebody else, i’m not going to do without my milk!’
What date did teaching assistant get off the ship? what date was her last test?
The death rate is just not the relevant or important measure anyway. That is a newbie mistake.
