Agree.
Sounds like many (even here) are falling into the ‘over 60/useless eaters’ lefty mantra.
That doesn’t mean they (the older folks) are spreaders....it just means they are more vunerable to dying, from this.
Next pandemic could be the 20-40 set, are the ones more vunerable. Do we ban them from ... travel....socializing....etc?
Old folks staying at home keeps them alive during something like this.
The roulette gun has more bullets in it if you’re over 60. Why chance it for a bridge game or something similarly trivial?
The death rate is just not the relevant or important measure anyway. That is a newbie mistake.

Another thing that they aren’t thinking about is that viruses mutate. It may be worse on the elderly now, but it could be worse for kids down the road. My understanding is more the virus infects, the more it learns to adapt. Hoping it just mutates to something less nasty tho.
