Great ideas
You can be sick in the hospital with it and still test negative. Patient 0 had been sick for days and was still negative..AND it didnt show up on XRAY...AND they claim he could have been shedding that virus during that time based on XYZ( that I can’t remember)
Talking about it arriving in Washington, DC. Makes me think this may turn out to be a way of cleaning out the swamp. It’ll be interesting to see how many congresscritters get it.
Are those imported cases or local community?
They were testing outside in Ambulance Bays. I guess so as not to spread it.
“I still havent called NCL but going to and tell them I am elderly and White House said I shouldnt be on a cruise..please refund my money as I dont want to die on your Alaskan cruise”
The key with NCL is getting a government entity, like the White House, saying don’t go. If you don’t get that, it’s just your word against ‘official policy’, as happened to thousands last month on the NCL Jade (in Asia), myself included. I knew enough to not bother fighting...it was hopeless. Perhaps there may be a Class Action, but even that will be dismissed by Bankruptcy Court.
Can’t speak for Mass General, but Johns Hopkins is taking it seriously. The university just announced that all NCAA Division III Basketball games they host will be without spectators, due to the arrival of Coronavirus in Maryland.
Correct. We do that with dogs that have upper respiratory problems as canine influenza is highly contagious and kills dogs if not vaccinated.
Pence and his team didn’t know about the possible exposure to congress at that conference
we knew that since late last night
John Hopkins is giving the rest of the NCAA a _hint_....
;-)
I am no fan of the CDC no matter who is President.
They screwed this up and Trump will get the blame
Seeing a lot of headlines that Trump is falsely saying it was Obama’s fault . Haven’t bothered to figure out why they are saying as it pertains to that regulation.

Update: Four new confirmed cases of #COVID19 in Santa Clara County. This brings the total number of cases to 24.
Have you heard if insurance is paying out when you are sick with the flu. I also bought the insurance because it was peanuts due to the low cost of what I was paying. I think it was based on the Admin fee.
If you’re wrong, nothing is lost. You’ve gained not having to shop later.
Thanks for the thread.
My temp is 98.5 and I have washed my hands 4 times today

That’s how we’re looking at the stocking up thing.
I’ve got a white board set up in my kitchen behind a door. When we finish a box/can/etc, we’re going to make a list on that whiteboard that will be our shopping list. I’m going to keep everything rotated and stuff.
Hopefully the garden does splendidly this summer too!
For how long?
Kroger has toilet paper on a two day special. Scotts. Friend said they have an area with two big pallets in the middle of the floor. One was almost empty and the other looked like about 1/2 was gone...4 hours into the opening of the store. Granted, I doubt it was stacked sky high like at Costco
They tested less than 1.5% of the 3,500 people aboard, so it's possible, if not likely, they already have more infections than the Diamond Princess. 21 of 45 testing positive is about 46%, and has to be far worse than hoped. I really hope we do a better job than Japan did.
