What is going to happen in high crime cities where even their limited recreational facilities as well as the schools are closed?. I doubt that drug dealers will stop doing their business during this crisis

The only difference is now, we are a more populated and weaker immune system.
Plus we expect a lot from others to take care. We have lot of irresponsible people who refused to do good. We are in Societal decline. Lack of empathy towards others.
HIV, EBOLA, Hongkong flu were localized. Asian flu was airborne but restricted (localized). H1N1 was slow spreader and less lethal. This fast contagion and more lethal.
With H1N1, my fever was stuck between 101 and 104 for 7 days. And the cough was horrible. Body ache was horrible. I took 16 extra strength Tylenol per day, still out of control fever. 7th day I saw the doctor and he gave me oseltamivir phosphate. Within 2 days a fever came to normal and cough within 10 days. I did lung exercise for over one month.
Coronavirus, they are saying its ugly viral pneumonia.
What the Administration is trying to do is reduced a lot of people in ICU at one time.
Now Chinese are travelling more. Frequency of these flus will be more. Before 2000, China was a closed country.
I loved statistics in college! And it was easy for me, one professor told me because I was disorganized, lol. I helped other students with it in lab. Of course I’ve forgotten most of what I never used.

The was a story first heard from my dad’s DR about a physician in Canada who gave her patients vitamin D3. He tested both dad and I and we were short of the vitamin
When HINEy as my nurse cousin called it came around she also told the story. None of her patient caught the flue so none died from it. Her community had been hit hard.
So between the two dad and I started taking D3 regularly.
I don’t know how old you are, but when I got my degree we had to learn to do everything by hand, and only in later classes when we had to apply it could we use a calculator. I helped some people at work with their classes and was appalled that they only had to learn what buttons to push on the calculator without understanding the problem and how to solve it.
I remember pages of algorithms, one test was just one Black Scholl problem.
I guess I wasn’t clear.
I don’t think we have enough data to have accurate percentages yet, except for a few specific numbers that we know, like the number of Americans tested positive who have died.
I wonder how many have it without symptoms, how many have had it and recovered thinking it was flu or a cold...

Katrina. President Bush was respecting the State’s right and waited for the Louisiana Governor to request aid, as he was supposed to do. All the Democrats and media blamed him when the State and local governments were inept while he was acting in accordance to the constitution.
We take D3.
Our doctor recommends it.
Also, when I was tested for allergies a few months ago my allergy doctor told me to be sure to take the D3 because it helps allergy meds to work better.

You are a good friend. My son said they couldn’t find toilet paper anywhere, told him I could spare a few squares if they run out. I went to rehab (not that kind), had my son check out my car, had to go get an oil change, and now I’m tired. I’ve been so tired lately from doing very little. Have to drive to Abilene tomorrow to go to oncologist. Postponing surgery in Fort Worth. Will reschedule in weeks so we can see how this thing goes. Hope I have have enough energy to help my daughter with her kids a little the rest of the week as schools are closed. My son said his partner comes in this morning with his three yo ( mechanic shop) as the daycare was closed. He told him to just go home. My lymphedema therapist daycare is closed, her husband is a cop. So he can watch kids for three days, work night shift, then she found a babysitter for Thursday and Friday, she hopes.
