I think the dems are pushing the President to do things and he has advisors telling him if he doesn’t do them, the dems will blame him for everything that happens and the uninformed will vote for the dem lies.
I hope that his declaring a state of emergency and all the money that frees up will put Pelosi’s slush bill in the trash can. And that the money will be spent wisely.

In addition to declaring an emergency under the Stafford Act, @realDonaldTrump is expected to declare an emergency under the National Emergencies Act, which allows HHS to waive certain guidelines related to Medicare, Medicaid and SCHIP to address the coronavirus.
I think what is really going on is it’s election year and this is the last chance Democrats have of getting Trump out of office.

Trash it, the whole thing. I heard Steven Moore on the radio, he said every single thing in Pelosi bill will bring the economy down and bankrupt business. He suggested Trump take control of the situation and tell her he wants a bill that cuts payroll tax for ER and EE starting next week, nothing added to it, and he wants it now.
You know the answer to that. Now that you mention it, I actually am surprised that there hasn't been a yuge Wuhan outbreak in the homeless population. Or maybe there is & we just don't know about it.
That's not a bug, that's a feature. Trump gets the blame no matter what.
