Ours is out of stock.
I think I happened to hit ours at right time. They havent restocked, since.
I didnt see anybody panicking as I drove that day. The gas stations had the usual amount of customers.
When I reached my little hometown city, there was panic.
The first three gas stations I went to were out of fuel. The fourth one had somebody at every nozzle including a guy filling a 55 gallon drum. This caused the gas stations to raise their prices. The prices took a few days to drop back down.
There was plenty of fuel the next day.
My little hometown city is in the Rockies. Many of my fellow citizens pride themselves on being tough and resilient. It didnt take much for them to turn into Chicken Little.
People also forget that there was a real fear that the Stock Market would crash after 9/11. They even shut the market down for awhile.
I invested every spare penny I had when the market reopened.
The broker congratulated me on my money making.
I invested because everyone was going Chicken little and that would hurt my country. I told him I didnt invest to make a killing.
People panic and that can be way more dangerous than the original cause.
Try walmart.com, kroger.com, walgreens.com, etc.
Ick, exposure to more germs 3 times a week.
Simple answer. I'm gluten intolerant. I can eat corn tortillas. Wheat flour causes my stomach to lock up, fill with acid and bloats my abdomen like a beach ball. It's horribly painful. After 6 to 8 hours in horrible pain, I have to puke the contents of my stomach before my digestive tract starts operating again.
food for thought: flu rate dec 1.8 per 100K, jan 1.9 per 100K, feb 48.1 per 100K, right after Chinese new year. Ever consider that strange?
second thought: ‘common’ flu affects the upper respiratory system and rarely affects the lower lung. No major physiological changes are noted in those recovered from flu. Common flu deaths are generally very old people with underlying morbidities and one foot on a banana peel. Novel CV attacks the lower lungs, the upper lungs, the heart, the kidneys, and possibly reproductive parts. Physiological changes, some potentially long term, are noted in those recovered. Novel CV shows no age preference, felling doctors and nurses along with students and grandmothers. We’re talking the difference in magnitude between acne and skin cancer. Which would you rather catch, cowboy?
Why is Kuwait banning foreign ships from departing?
Im the same. No fun. I cant tolerate corn either. Its rice and potatoes for me, but very little.
He needs to be at least middle of the road. Be prepared and be aware.
don’t replace them, just mark them ‘dog’. And use that rice (cooked of course) to stretch your dog, cat and chicken food.

Prevent spreading the virus

Now that’ll poke the ol’ economy with a stick.
Yup. A couple 3 inch corn tortillas for tacos each week is my limit. A half cup of basmati rice with an Indian dish a couple times each month. A side of garlic mashed potatoes once a month. Generally low carb, low glycemic index veggies are my staples. Grilled salmon and chicken are my favored meats. Whey protein shakes fill the balance of protein intake.
Thanks Blue, I just bought another 120 lbs. of rice because of the advice I got here ($50) I buried the old bags in my stack for doomsday usage. I’m not about to get rid of anything until this virus I’d long gone.
Can you store rice in the bag or does it need food buckets with O2 reduction?
Same question for dried beans, and thanks.
Per your link at CDC - “One microbiologist said her colleagues were crying in the hallways. Its really sad, she said. Its depressing. Im eating a bagel to try and be happy.”
This is what is running the CDC...
