For decades, liberal activists yearned for a European-style, single-payer health system that they argued would lead to more affordable, efficient, and comprehensive medical coverage for all citizens. When Vermont four years ago enacted a landmark bill to establish the nations first single-payer health care system, they saw their long-sought dream about to be fulfilled.
But reality hit last month. Governor Peter Shumlin released a financial report that showed the cost of the program would nearly double the size of the states budget in the first year alone and require large tax increases for residents and businesses. ---SNIP--- In short, if a liberal state electing a Socialist (US Senator Bernie Sanders) to Congress cant or wont put a single-payer system into place, then who will?

When the money runs out will the progressive elites behind it all get starve with the rest of us?
It’s always those dratted costs.
We already know that older citizens would be denied coverage in some instances, because it would be cost-effective. Say, cancer in a 90 year old person.
And if it's true Medicare For All, it means you will *still* have to pay a premium each month. So it's increased taxes and the ol' monthly hit, which could change over time.
Progressive premium, based on age and existing conditions?

Only those who do not learn to grow their own food will starve.
And the elites will be hard pressed when production drops because there aren't enough people to grow the food they want/need, or ship it to them.
Then again, maybe The Hunger Games is not so far fetched after all.
