Here’s my scenario, if I were the “Deep State”. Wait for the convention, use Deep State prowess to induce a second heart attack in Sanders. When he is incapacitated, force Mrs. Clinton as an emergency fill-in candidate. Only way to do it without a complete melt-down among the Dems.

It is quite the issue the dems have created, allowing the socialist to run as a dem. They had to do this to bring in the Bernbots, but they also had to know that they’d take him out if they had to. So many questions.....what will they do when they take The Bern out and his Bernbots go full antifa? Will Hitlery take The Bern as her running mate to keep everyone happy? I can’t see The Bern playing second fiddle to Hitlery any more than I could see it the other way around.
If The Bern IS the nominee, will the media to full-out to push him, going against their dem bosses? Will the dems put their voter fraud in action to get The Bern elected? It’s hard to know what to do when one of your goons goes full stupid and actually TELLS everyone the truth about wanting socialism.

Bloomberg is actually pretty good at nailing Bernie... And I think he’s only begun. Bringing up the three houses the other night was probably quite effective with independents who lean D.

A lot depends on Bernie gaining 1,991 delegates on the way convention....winning enough to avoid a second ballot. They are fairly desperate and hoping that Bloomberg can take a minimum of five stats....thus prevent Bernie from moving on.
I think around 2 June (particularly with New Jersey’s vote), you will know the Bernie path. If he fails on 1991....then you get the brokered convention, and either Bloomberg or Clinton will be called upon to ‘win’. For Bernie supporters, a lot of frustration will be laid out in public.
I don’t think the Dems even want her, maybe the elite media types but there will be a huge sh!t storm if they screw over Bernie again.
I’ve been predicting for many months now that these caucuses and primaries are a waste of time. Even Super Tuesday will not prove conclusive for any candidate. Do you want to know when Hillary will step in?

Just how much longer will it take, for Hillary, or anyone else to take no action to get in the race, to not form exploratory committees, to not file any paperwork, to not start on months of work needed, to not line up donors, for it to be clear this is not going to happen?

If they bring in Hillary, the Bernie Bots walk...maybe they even vote Trump, some of them. This is 30-40% of their party right there. That’s above and beyond those that think Hillary is disgusting, another smaller chunk of their party. The resentment will destroy them. There’s no picking up the pieces in the aftermath.
If they let Bernie win to take a McGovern-like loss in the general (assuming no Black Swan event). They pick up the pieces in the aftermath.
If they get a Black Swan event (hello China), then Bernie could potentially deliver on their wildest dreams...or not, who knows...it’s all a crapshoot then.
The problem for Skunk Cabbage is that she already stole the nomination from Bernie once, so having her do the same a second time will result in next to ZERO Bernie supporters showing up in November. They’ll need someone else...but they’ll still get clobbered.
I’ll bet some people are already coming up with their ideas for “Bernie Sanders Didn’t Kill Himself” t-shirts.
