Talked to a friend who works at NTT in Japan. NTT has encouraged all employees consider working at home when possible. There is some independent corroboration of this here:

Contractors who work at NTT - well, they still have to report to work! But contractors in some groups are getting permission to stagger their start times. The friend opined that it’s possible that some contractors will get permission to work from home shortly.
“Super Spreader” is right on! I am shocked how many of the 2200 passenger got infected on Diamond Princess. No other disease spreads that fast.
Only good news is fatality rate is only around 2%.
CBS Austin just now reported the patients were taken to the Texas Center for Infectious Disease. Smack dab in the middle of the city. That’s the hospital I posted about when the first plane arrived which is located in the opposite direction (east) from Lackland than the Bio Safety lab but then was never mentioned in any articles. Now we know why.
But who knows since they keep changing the story. Either way, San Antonio is full of spooky places to put them.

Having someone self-quarantined at home with family members who are going out and about pretty much defeats the purpose of a self-quarantine. If that someone is infected but in an asymptomatic phase of the illness, the family members very likely will pick up the virus and be out passing it on anyway.

SPOKANE, Wash. — Five patients who have tested positive for COVID-19, more commonly known as coronavirus, are being transferred to Spokane’s Providence Sacred Heart Medical Center.
According to a press release, Providence Sacred Heart was chosen “because of its secured airborne infection isolation rooms.” Sacred Heart is one of 10 hospitals with this as a specialized unit across the country
