The arrogance and disdain are astounding. Darlin and I went through the local county Master Gardener course a few years ago.We learned so much. Mostly we learned that there is so much to learn, and we only scratched the surface. No way are good farmers just ignorant rubes. The breadth of their knowledge and being in tune with their care of their lands, animals, and plants is very deep and wide. God bless our farmers.
I hear ya!
Maybe the FR poster who handles the Gardening Thread could “troll” bloomy’s website with an invite to come over and join our gardening thread.
Can’t recall the FReeper’s name...
Someone should drop Minnie Mike on deserted island with a packet of seeds and a shovel. Tell him to grow his own food.

Agree wholeheartedly!
I really respect farmers especially when I’m so inept I lose my seedlings to dry rot, or overwhelmed by blossom end rot on tomatoes...
It’s miraculous to me that people can grow food in large enough quantities to feed us all!
People whine about farmers being subsidized... I’m going to be damned thankful for every farmer we’ve got!
