I was a liberty loving patriot before I decided to get into politics. I saw how awful Jimmy Carter was, and how things turned around with Reagan, so registered to vote for Reagan 2nd term. I dont think my parents could have been more disappointed if I was a serial killer.

To Ivanka- I hear ya’ sister! I grew up in an FDR household and gravitated into a trade union that was rabidly Dem.
My conversion came when I rode with my construction superintendent/company co-owner (one of three co-owners) that listened to Rush Limbaugh faithfully and religiously... and in time, I came over to the right side and now I am fervently conservative. I feel like I have had to leave the Republican plantation to get where I belong now. wink wink woot woot

You are the 3rd person on FR that I have seen that is having the same problem.
What is going on?
OMG. Women’s movements just dont know when to quit. Same for LGBT. Women started out wanting equal pay for equal work, and to be treated equally as far a type of work and promotions. That was good. But then, it turned into nothing but abortions and having power to ruin men’s lives. Same with gays getting marriage, then they just want to ruin Christians businesses and lives by demanding services. These people don’t want equality they want power to destroy.
