Which is why it may not be a bad thing if the Dems have a brokered convention and give the nomination to Bloomberg. Bernie fans will stay home. If Bernie is the nominee, Dems who don’t like him will still vote in order to keep the House and hope for the Senate.

Bloomberg as the nominee will be a huge roll of the dice for us. He will spend his billions in either case. Free food at events, huge salaries for campaign workers, big donations to influential people’s favorite charities and family trusts. One or two thousand million dollars is what he says that he will spend.
