Was in Placid for the 80 games, Eric Hayden (sp?)was the big excitement then, until of course this happened. Didn’t go to any Hockey games :(
What was cool was they skated outside if I recall correctly. I did see one of the medal ceremonies on Mirror Lake in the evening.

I cannot count how many times the crowd boo-ed the media and dirty cops and deep state at the PHX rally, but I was about to go hoarse contributing what I could. I rolled up two campaign signs and used them as a megaphone.
To save my voice I developed a technique of saying Thank YYY...YYY...YYY...OOO...OOO...OOO...UUU...UUU...UUU... instead of cheering for President Trump when the opportunity presented itself, and there were plenty of times to cheer.
At a Trump rally, you’re either cheering, or booing! LOL!

I have always remembered what the coach told the American players the night before the Olympic hockey game with the USSR. He told the players something like ... if we played the Soviets 100 times, they might beat us 99 times, but tomorrow is not their day. And then the USA won. Wow!
Most of the victorious ice hockey team from the USA vs USSR Olympic game in 1980. They were in Las Vegas for a reunion sponsored by the Las Vegas team.

It snowed the night of the 2001 FReepers Ball, starting while we were at the party. The DC mall was covered by a few inches of snow the next morning, making it seem like the Clinton trash had been cleared away.

President Trump spots a guy in the crowd wearing what he thinks is a GREAT SHIRT! He says to Bob- Bob, bring that guy up here. He looks safe. The guy comes up and has a white T shirt on with the words in big bold red letters- CNN SUCKS, or something like that... thinking that there were three words on the shirt but one of them escapes me at the moment. What an opportunity of a lifetime!

President Trump also just called up onstage the guy that wears the brick-wall suit, who has been to EIGHTY rallies, and he had a female companion with him wearing MAGA swag from head to toe, whom he just met yesterday at the Colorado rally. P- Trump remarks how the guy was really lucky to have made a new companion, and then makes a great follow on comment about how the woman got lucky too.
Oh man, I couldn’t stop laughing!

Writing a Trump rally speech has to be one of the easiest job around. They just tell him to walk out let ‘er rip.
I keep thinking he’s going to say that Al Bahgdadi is now Al Bag Deady. I wish he would lol.
