My better angel and I found a weird loophole not many people knew\know about.
I looked at it, then looked at it again, thinking “Are we (The U.S.A.) nutz ?” (Thank Pres. Clinton)
We are both the same age and we were right around full retirement.
I filed for FRA(Full Retirement Age) benefits @ 66.
My wife could file a “restricted application” for a spouse benefit under my SS for half of my benefits.
Her own benefit accrued @ 8% a year after FRA - 66
She turned 70 and took her own benefit. (There is no additional benefit after 70)
America - what a country.
The Feds just closed that loophole but grandfathered in anybody born before January 2, 1954. (Which makes you 66 - FRA - this year).
Note - I believe (and check it out before doing) only one spouse has to be 66. The one claiming the spouse benefit can be as young as 62.

I was dreading having to go in to the doctor. He’s in the small town just south of me and the parking is right on the main street. I left early, giving myself time to drive around the block a few times until a parking space opened up. Well, there was a space open and easy to pull into about 20 steps from the front door. So I’m about 25 minutes early, but I go into the waiting room. Empty! Receptionist on the phone, so I sat down. Receptionist still on the phone, and my doctor pokes his head out and says hello and come right in! I’m in there for about 10 minutes, he takes my blood pressure, listens to my musical lungs, checks throat, etc. and explains everything to me and writes me a script. I thank him and leave (receptionist not there, so I never did check in lol). I was on my way home 1 minute before my appointment! Now I just have to figure out how to work this new fangled puffer.
It took me an hour to find today’s rally on YouTube.
Vegas and CO were listed under RS but Phx wasn’t, went to FB to see if maybe they weren’t covering Phx but they are.
RSBN has said they are hiding them from us and I know that is the truth.
They will go live in Phx in about 1 1/2 hours.

One guy designed an ink stamp for $20 Bill’s. It’s the word TRUMP with an arrow on each side pointing to the numbers 20. TRUMP 2020.
Hard to text due to excitement conversing with neighbors.
It’s going to be a long day. Lots of standing. My truck is close with water and a folding chair.
Crowd chanting in small groups, four more years. Hard to sustain chants for more than 4 or 5 verses.
Merchants pulling wagons selling water, fruit, Gatorades, buttons, scarves, etc.
Going from a laptop to a cell phone... grrr.
Good News.
