I’ve grown corn for the last 4 years - between soil types, fertilizer, picking a type of corn, dealing with pests, weather, weeds, then deer, crows, and strange but true coyotes taking off with entire stalks, it’s anything but easy.

It’s just like when they want to tax “the rich”. The devil is in the details, figuring out exactly who is Rich. And then of course that’s a moving Target. Same thing with gun control.
They won’t stop until they have all our guns, tax everybody, treat nobody. Except illegals of course.

I remember Californians were stuck with a tax increase, sold as for the rich, but hit a family of 4 with $46,000 income. What struck me at the time was $46,000 was how much taxpayers had to pay for incarceration for 1 inmate each year.
Yeah, for all our efforts we got very little to eat. And I forgot about being out in the sun, and the wind, and the backbreaking work.
Ridiculous that that cost so much. Four people can live on that amount of money a year but only one inmate? The inmates should be working to earn their keep. God bless Sheriff Joe
