Did everyone notice the deluge of #woke Super Bowl ads? I mean well over half this time blurted out their communist social justice bullcrap time after time. I was hitting the damn mute button more often than not. And to think in years past Super Bowl ads were something to look forward to!
The entire world watches this crap.... Trump was spot on and the conservative message felt alive with FOX.
Even the Budweiser ads were lame. I can’t say any one of them rang my chimes. Several of them, I couldn’t figure out what they were trying to say. A stupid way to blow $5Million in one minute or less.
A lot of ads were just weird
With one or two exceptions the ads were crap, offensive, or both. I really didnt need to meet Ellens wife.
Too late, I thought about adding up the, uh, demographics of all the actors in the commercials.....looks like America?
The Doritos was the only one that was funny, clever, and interesting. Everything else was noisy and trashy. IMMHO.
You misspelled it/her/his name.
Maybe by filtering the beer through your kidneys and recycling it into the ground.
What got me was the steady barrage of one-liners lasting 1/10 to 1/2 second, all clips filled with ultra weird people, and zero continuity between the clips. Most of the time I was hard pressed to tell what product they were hawking until the very end. The theme this year seemed to be lets make all there commercials as annoying as possible. It seemed like if you werent deeply into modern culture and didnt appreciate ultra-edgy stuff, they couldnt care less about you.
They all made me nostalgic for the Budweiser frogs, Clydesdales, and doggies.
Even todays Budweiser organic beer commercial was horrendous a melange of totally unrelated things.
The commercial that actually move me the most was the one by Google.
I missed the first quarter and the Trump commercial.
That was the Budweiser organic beer commercial and it was totally incomprehensible. And moronic. And completely pointless.
That one with that female singer driving the Audi EV was the worst. Just sickening.
As people bring up more of them, I keep commenting THAT was the worst one today. But, seriously, now I really mean it. That avocado one was the worst of all of them. By far.
Well, except maybe the Doritos popcorn one. And the Audi EV one. And the Budweiser organic beer one. And the one that showed cliches like were you born yesterday and bury your head in the sand brought to life.
Back in the good old days, youd vote for the best. Now we get to vote for what sucked least.
Exactly right.
We’re finally getting near to where electric cars are widely viable, rather than just inner-city scooters. The problem isn’t so much that they’re around, it’s that the governments attempted to cram them down everyone’s throats 20 years ahead of being ready, and made them far more expensive than they needed to be - and wasted a lot of taxpayer money to pretend they weren’t overly-expensive boondoggles.
Thats a good ranking. Have to agree...the Olay space Walk, Pop Tarts, and Turbo Tax were horrendous.
I would put Cheetos down near the bottom, too.
If only they could bring themselves to say zero emissions at the tailpipe...because we dont have one! Then it would be true...sort of.
I was a bit put off by the anti-cop commercial. The women in space was a bit weird. But the worst thing of all was this smug, eff-you attitude that seemed to be a bunch of #woke youtube editors suddenly taking over the ad scripts.
While the genre isn't on my preference list, the song, which samples Nine Inch Nails, is pretty creative and sticks with you...and it isn't political.
It was the best commercial tonight, thought the Bill Murray bit was great.
Best part was the video of the game ball being delivered to the ref to start the game. I’d like to see a list, in order, of all the NFL players, coaches and media personalities who were in the video. It was great.

There were a few gems, I agree, but unfortunately the enjoyment of them were delayed until I knew there was no sjw message being passed.
