When a drag queen has to lecture woke parents on morality

You know that American culture has hit an all-time low when it takes a drag queen to tell “woke” parents to keep their kids out of drag bars. Who would have thought?

I just did a search for “drag queen lectures parents,” looking for articles related to the subject of this article.

The results of the search were telling, yielding headlines like this on a wide variety of drag-related stories:

“Viral Video Shows Drag Queen Teaching Children To ‘Twerk’ As Parents Look On.”

“Parents outraged after X-rated drag queen speaks to 11-year-olds at school career day.”

There is even a debate as to whether or not a drag queen flashed toddlers during a recent reading event. I am not making this up.

Adding to this madness is the new phenomenon of little boys being celebrated as drag queens, most famously the little boy known as Desmond Is Amazing. And little Desmond actually performed in a gay bar, leading to a firestorm of criticism. Reporting on this controversy, Pink News reported that, “Drag kid Desmond is Amazing’s mum defends gay bar performance.”

Well, one drag queen has said enough is enough, scolding parents for the insane practice of bringing their children into gay bars where drag queens perform.

As reported by Will Maule on Christian Headlines, “A popular drag queen known as ‘Kitty Demure’ has issued a stark warning to parents who are seeking to involve their children in the crossdressing scene.”

In the video, which is going viral, “Kitty” asks pointedly, “What in the h*** has a drag queen ever done to make you have so much respect for them, and admire them so much, other than put on makeup and jump on the floor and writhe around and do sexual things on stage?”

How in the world did drag queens, who are almost all gay men, become exemplars for our children? What on earth happened to our society that the American Library Association could actually support Drag Queen Story Hours for our toddlers?

In response to one of my articles addressing this perverse phenomenon, some drag supporters protested, “What’s the big deal? Do you have a problem with clowns performing for your children?”

But that’s the thing. Clowns are not making ridiculous gender statements. Clowns are not parading their sexuality. How can anyone not see the differences?

In the words of “Kitty,” “I have absolutely no idea why you would want that to influence your child. Would you want a stripper or a pornstar to influence your child?”

So drag queens are not just like clowns, after all. There is a sexual component to the displays, especially in drag bars.

In the words of “Kitty,” “If you need your child to be entertained by a big human in a costume-wearing makeup, take them to the circus or something.”

Yes, “Kitty” gets it, but the “woke” parents do not: “I understand that you might want to look like you’re with it, that you’re cool and woke … but you can raise your child to be just a normal everyday child without including them in gay sexual things.”

And what happens in the gay bars? How do these drag queens conduct themselves? What happens on stage and what happens behind the scenes?

“There is a lot of filth that goes on, a lot of sexual stuff that goes on, and backstage there's a lot of nudity, sex, and drugs. To actually get them involved in drag is extremely, extremely irresponsible.”

This was seconded by a commenter who tweeted, “The drag scene is a dirty, rough & tumble lifestyle, rife with promiscuity, prostitution, drugs & crime. Exposing kids to people who live their lives wallowing in such an environment, as if it's just peachy keen, is child abuse.”

But it is not just “extremely irresponsible” to bring children to gay bars to watch drag queens perform, or worse still, to have your child perform in one of these bars. (Again, the very thought of it is mind-boggling.)

It is also “extremely irresponsible” to bring your children, especially toddlers, to libraries or schools for Drag Queen Story Hours. To underscore the madness of the moment, just watch this video or this one. And then remember that one or more of these drag readers have been exposed as pedophiles. (Even Snopes confirms this.)

That’s another reason that “Kitty” was so upset with the unwise actions of these parents. As he noted, gay men have had to combat the pedophile accusation for years. Why, then, implicate them again by bringing little children to their performances? On the flip side, why would other drag queens accept invitations to read to little children if they were so concerned with pedophile accusations?

When you watch “Kitty’s” video, you’ll see he has no problem with boys dressing as girls. And he certainly has no problem with boys identifying as gay. So, he is hardly an icon of Christian morality.

All the more, then, is his rebuke unsettling, akin to a drug dealer rebuking parents for smoking pot in front of their kids.

To be sure, not all drag queens engage in the behavior “Kitty” described. But many do, while the whole drag costume shtick is a mockery of God’s designs for men and women.

And so, when you share this article with others, offer up a prayer for “Kitty” as well. I’m sure God has a better plan for his life. And pray for these parents who have lost their moral bearings. Even more, pray for their kids.

Pining and doing are two different things, though. I pine for one myself, and well, you know that story.

McCoy being in the TNG pilot was an outlier, gimmick and a bit absurd. In fact, I doubt he would’ve made it to the age he claimed, unless they magically found a cure for arthritis, which was already crippling him by the movies (Christopher Plummer’s Gen. Chang barking “You were incompetent !” was telling in why he was partly unable to save the Klingon Chancellor Gorkon). Memory Alpha had McCoy being only 39 when he joined the Enterprise, though the actor was 46 and looked a bit past 50.

If expanded lifespans were likely, we’d be looking younger, not older than our actual age (i.e. at 50, you’d look 30 and so forth, at 100, you’d look 75-80, etc.). McCoy was supposed to be 137 in the TNG pilot, but if you look at him when he was 66 and wracked with arthritis in “The Undiscovered Country” and looking closer to a frail 80+, it seems all the more ludicrous he’d live 71 more years (in fact, it was never mentioned when he died). It would’ve been hell for him to suffer with such health problems for longer than he was alive at the point he was to retire from his post (and then supposedly he went on to all these other positions, such as Surgeon General, et al, which seem all the more baffling and unlikely).

Of course, as long as you’re a male and can still ejaculate (with viable swimmers), you can impregnate a fertile female. I think even my ggg-grandfather who remarried a woman 30 years younger than himself (she was 25, he was 55), was still having children with her until around 70. I get a bit touchy when that subject of wide age disparities between a guy and a girl come up on here, because had he not married that young woman, I would not exist (nor my father, his mother and so on). I’ll similarly have to do the same to start a family (well, not 30 years yet).

It explicitly stated the wife, Marie, survived Robert and René in Memory Alpha info. Yes, so Jean-Luc is indeed even older than I thought his character would be, around 95.

Getting back to something I remembered, from the Animated Series of all things (considered semi-canon), they had the first Captain of the Enterprise, Commodore Robert April, and he was being forced to retire at the age of 75 (though it was rescinded). With the exception of the Vulcans, you don’t want a geriatric corps serving in active duty. I can imagine an absolute limit of maybe 85-90, so it makes Picard’s “retirement” not due his belief that “Starfleet wasn’t Starfleet” anymore, but because of obvious reasons of diminished physical capacity.

Would those 900 million have known what was to happen ? If so, why didn’t they attempt to stop it ? It’s really too ludicrous to consider. Blowing up all these worlds is too beyond the pale. In fact, it’s made it no longer shocking, but absurd. Vulcan, gone. Romulus, gone. Mars(?), gone ? It’s ludicrous and bad writing. That’s soap opera level stuff. I love soaps, well, the ones I watch, but you take it with a grain of salt, and expect some retcons to occur from time to time for the purpose of stories and drama. But this really diminishes the Trek universe reducing it to this level of silliness.

Picard sword fight. Well, was he battling a bad guy while people sat by and watched and did nothing, or was this just a good-natured jousting match that he enjoyed while Captain ? If it’s the former, again, the absurdity of a 95-year old character in such a situation...

As for driving dune buggies, the one thing I noticed about the TOS and even TNG period was that there seemed to be no vehicles (not counting Abrams’ absurd scene with a little kid Kirk menacing the corn fields of SE Iowa playing some $hit modern-to-our-era music). I would think the dune buggies would not be PC SJW-approved technology, and make Patrick Stewart look like a hypocrite. Mass transit seemed like the only method.

Anyway, we’re debating all this canon/not canon stuff in a show that cannot be canon in the fictional Abrams Kurtzman Fag Faux Trek universe of asshattery.

He had nursing home written all over him. Dee Kelley didn't make it to 80, even if he looked older than that in ST:TUC. He should've retired to be with his wife, Natira, after she and her people settled that new world. It should've been Ambassador Spock seeing off Enterprise-D. Huge, huge gaffe.

I think that was the key problem with the entire Superman universe. This was a superior humanoid species and they merely ignored or denied what was going to happen to their planet (which would've been realized by scientific minds years ahead of time) ? It didn't pass the smell test. Of course, mind you, Superman's father couldn't stop the destruction of Krypton, but they could've evacuated it en masse.

They should be fine though, the refugees, all they need is a planet and some replicators, no shortage of either, right? I have no problem with the concept, not that I would have chosen to base the show on a stupid plot device invented by JJ Abrams in order to create a really crappy villain for an alternate timeline movie franchise. Especially if it’s meant to be a BS Muslim refugees parable. I like the “android ban” plotline even less. It’s lazy."

That would indicate profound ignorance on the part of the Romulans, and a suicidal streak. This, too, makes no sense. Shows Abrams, Kurtzman and the Gilmore Girls gang have no understanding whatsoever of the Trek universe. It's all utter silliness and just piss-poor writing/storytelling.

Well I watched episode 2 here’s my recap, I enjoy recapping crap for some reason

Flashback 14 years, the robot rebellion on Mars. So they are basically slaves, not clear how “sentient” they are, kept in a shipping container at night and made fun of by the human workers for not getting bad jokes.

As in all evil robot fiction they all get taken over somehow and start killing humans (they only show the one though). Bad Robot lowers the shields, these ships come and bomb the ship yards and the bad robot shoots himself for some reason even though he’s about to get blown up with the rest of the shipyards.

Back in the Present

Borg Cube. It’s called “the artifact” it’s cut-off from the collective. The “Romulan Free State” owns it and is making bank off it’s technology. Bunch of federation citizens are there working to “reclaim” catatonic ex-borg. Real humanitarians.

Twinsister is one of those people, she’s spread her legs for that Romunlan dude, who is off-puttingly bearded and British. I will call him Cumberbatch.

Someone does some surgery on a drone, takes out all the implants, even the eye thing, the real eye is bloody and effed up under there.

Back to Earth

So both Picard’s butler and housekeeper are Romulans (I didn’t notice the Chick’s ears before) and I shiite you not, Ex Tal Shiar (Romulan intelligence). Would you want an ex spy to pick up your broken tea set? Why can’t you use a reverse replicator vacuum to deal with that?

So the Housekeeper, she sounds Irishish, the dude seems so human and American that it’s off-putting.

Now I don’t know their names, I’m gonna call the chick SexyEars, she’s a little older but I like the accent. The dude I will call Jeeves.

So they are distressed there are no particles left over of dead girl. “They erased her” They speculate on the existence of some mythical deep state cult within/beyond the Tal Shiar called the Ican’trememberthestupid name. Let’s call them the Illuminati.

Now these supposed people that 100% exist despite Jeeves thinking they are a children’s story (and never seeming to do anything in Star Trek before) secretly HATE AND FEAR artificial intelligence for some reason than I would guess is borg related. Turns out all Romulan computers just do math, they don’t even have Alexa or Siri I guess.

Picard and SexyEars go to dead girl’s apartment, she uses banned and supposedly unreliable but actually probably very reliable and super useful Romulan technology to magically recreate particles so you see and hear ghost images of dead girl and her BF before they were killed. CSI: Romulus must be a pretty boring show.

It doesn’t work though cause some Romunlan agents have been in and “scrubbed” the place of particles. These are real pros.

She does hacker stuff with the also scrubbed phone records that is vaguely interesting and deduces that the “closer than a twin” sister is not on Earth.

Picard gets a house call from an old friend, his medical officer on the “Stargazer” I guess. Picard wants him to clear him for Starfleet duty. But uh-oh spigettios, he has something vague wrong with his brain that he knew “might be a problem in the future”. His strange dreams about Data are a symptom and it sounds like unpleasant Spock’s dad style death will occur. The doc will lie for him though and says Picard will be lucky if he dies “out there” instead.

Picard goes to starfleet HQ, steps out of what seems like a two way portal outside, there are a bunch of them in row people come out one way while people are also walking the opposite way and disappearing into them. No one walks into each other though even though I’m fairly sure they were all two-way.

Security dude does not recognize Picard.

Picard goes to Starfleet’s Chief Bitch Admiral, asks for a small ship to go do a vague investigation of Bruce Maddox (that scientist asshole) is using “Data’s neurons” to make new androids allegations. We owe it to Data to tend to his illegally created “children”!!!!!

Admiral has PMS even though she is too old, she chews Picard out for his tv interview and states that lots of Federation races were so pissed off about helping Romulans that they were gonna Brexit from the Federation and that was BEFORE they lost the shipyards, there was just no way the Federation could keep helping.

She tells Picard to F right off and go straight to hell. Not in those words but she did use the F word. Nechayev was never this mean to Picard!!

Picard has Blonde Science Chick over to his house, she picks up an Asimov book. Picard: “I never liked science fiction.” Haha how very meta.

He does her on the coffee table, hard. Just kidding. They have tea, and BSC says Dead Girl’s records were created out of no where 3 years ago.

Picard takes a flying “taxi” out to the middle of nowhere (why not beam? Why are there flying cars everywhere anyway) to some Black girl’s 25th century trailer, (Michelle Hurd, Season 1 of “Law and Order: SVU) she is pissed to see him, threatens to shoot, gun control failure? Finally some good news about the future. But he has Romulan intrigue and he brought a good vintage so....

She’s someone who can get him a ship supposedly. He doesn’t want to get any of his friends in trouble.

Meanwhile Admiral PMS calls up some Vulcan but Romunlan acting Commodore (I love than rank, glad they still use it) who must be Section 31 though they don’t say it, look into this Picard crap would you Commodore? Oh yes I will but of course there cannot possibly be Romulan agents on Earth.

Commodore chews out her crack underling, “her” team “killed that thing” (dead girl) without getting to interrogate it. Uh oh, section 31 is colluding with the Illuminati. Underling wants Picard dead, Commodore says hold up I’ll take care of him if necessary.

Underling is a Romulan in disguse. She makes a hologram call to her brother, Cumberbatch, and scolds him for banging the twin instead of getting info out of her “Where are the others”.

Twin sister, like dead twin, clearly doesn’t know anything on a conscious level about her nature or any “others”.
