Ten new cases of novel coronavirus were confirmed in Beijing on Saturday, according to local health authorities. This brings the number of confirmed cases to 51 in the Chinese capital.
Beijing's Municipal Health Commission said in a statement on Sunday that three of the patients are medical staff, two of which had a travel history to Wuhan. The third contracted the disease after sitting with one of the infected doctors during a meeting.

Do you remember the last time there was this kind of reaction by various Asian cities and countries? For example, with SARS did they go this extreme?

I heard that from the agenda-free guy on YT. I think he said this applies to 45 million people. No public gatherings, no public venues...theatres, libraries, bars, all closed. I’m not sure yet about all the “reasons” for this virus, but that’s pretty shocking to see 45 million people banned from public gatherings and venues. I’m not sure that would work in NYC, Los Angeles, or Chicago without chaos...(but maybe that’s the plan?).
