In addition to being highly contagious, this novel #coronavirus can cause a SEVERE infection that can kill even healthy people. It’s rare to see BOTH of these (bad) attributes in the same novel virus. Usually, it’s one or the other.
Seems like if Commies were developing a bioweapon they would want BOTH in the virus.

The US medical system would be overwhelmed with even a 1% pneumonia rate.
With 100% of those infected, you’re on your own. Advanced western medicine cannot save you if you’re 2,000th in line.

The thing about this that’s worrisome is that it’s undercover- has that protective membrane and lives on surfaces for days. And, patients seem to be asymptomatic for days, so out and about, planes, trains, shops...
