Come on to LV to see the Raiders.

Stay here at my place, but, I do not care for football.

Come and go as you may.

I have been to a super bowl thougt, years ago, in Detroit.

Doesn’t look as much fun as Miami, the little street they had for visitors was cute, but it was like zero outside.

Game was inside, sat in a private area.

Was fun.

Great story! First prize at a chile cook off and come to find out meatless, lol. Yes, I cant go any further than beans in mine. But the casserole my mother used to make she may have learned from her mother, as she was originally from Kansas.
I put a pinch of oregano in my chile. I put a pinch of cinnamon in my spaghetti sauce. Those are two of my closely held secrets.
Slow cook, or boil, whole beef. Take skin off red chile peppers, then mash or blend with tomato, cumin, garlic, salt and pepper and oregano. Shred beef, slow cook with sauce. Eat with tortillas.

My other method is just adding chile powder and other spices to ground beef and add kidney beans.

I put beans in my chili more often than not, but I have also tried several different chilis without them.

I have a nice one in one of the cookbooks that I am recalling.
Now all I have to do is recall which cookbook it is in!
*evil grin

You sound like a GREAT cook, and I am delighted (but not surpised) that you won a cook-off!

I would LOVE cooking with you!

One of our favorite meals is simply a ham with the bone in the crockpot, with white navy beans and onions.

I don’t put ANY spices in it at all, and it tastes great all on it’s own.
We make home made cornbread to go with it.
Wonderful!

How nice of you, sweetie!! I appreciate the invite.

We had thought about coming to LV, for this weekend, before we realized it was SB weekend...lol!

Wouldn’t it be fun for all of us to meet in Vegas? I love desert weather....and, I am stuck in a swamp. Although, it is gorgeous, today. Wish we could have today’s weather at least half of the year. Reminds me of desert weather....very low humidity.

Found. Peas planted. I had slid them in beside the matches knowing I’d be using them. Since it’s in the sixties no need for fire No need for matches.
But I did get the fire box cleaned out and the ashes scattered in the garden.

Thanks for your support.

What’s he up to now?

Paul Ryan is moving his family to the city he was always giddy to leave.

The former speaker of the House and onetime GOP vice presidential nominee is leaving his longtime home of Janesville, Wis., and will rent a house in the Maryland suburbs of Washington.

The libs tried to impeach Trump over a phone call and fell flat on their face

They and their mediabro enablers have zero credibility and now neither do the Congressional Democrats

The president tweeted that his interview would be on Fox at 3:30

It was on Fox Sports, with Hannity, before the Super Bowl.

I’ve seen pictures of the stadium, it is really something. Yes, the Raider Nation isn’t what it used to be. I used to take the BART to their games, called “Raider trains” on home game days. Nice people on the train till we stopped in Oakland, lol. At the game, as long as you wore Raider gear and kept your mouth shut you were safe.

I used to volunteer usher at the Concord Pavilion, just until the main feature came on, then could sit back and enjoy the show. ( except for Sammy Hagar ) I did that in Berkeley for the Metallica/ San Francisco Symphony show, that was great as they sold out of tickets so fast. Anyway, I considered doing the usher thing for Raider games, but I chickened out after thinking about it.
My son and I plan on going to a game in Las Vegas this coming season.

I want to thank FOX News for helping True Pundit grow. Our FED sources are expanding because they are tired of dealing with your tick tock 'reporters' who have been stringing them along for months. Appreciate the help, Murdoch.

Yes, Carson City is on Lake Tahoe, if you take the road through a park. Doesn’t get as hot as here. Since my kids keep putting off moving, and I decided when I was in the hospital I didn’t want to spend another summer held hostage to the air conditioner, I’d try it up there, as I have two nieces that live there.

Our SuperBowl is facing Bernie Sanders in the general.

I'm not sure Bernie will be that easy to beat, at least not as easy as other Dim candidates. His supporters are hardcore fanatics. Bernie is promising a LOT of free stuff, that all sounds good to a lot of idiot voters.

He is good at demonizing the "rich" and ginning up his base.. Everybody thinks they are not included in the "rich" category, util they find out anybody paying taxis is considered "rich". And he lies, with sincerity.

I don't see Bernie being any pushover.

It’s true, in Texas there are no beans in chile. But I secretly make Chile beans at home, with kidney beans. Dont tell anyone from Texas. Why do you think I’m considering moving to Nevada?

Thank goodness we’re remodeling, Rusty, because you’re not helping this Texas gal’s curtains.

;-)

I heard that Carson City area is mostly Republican. Seems most of your political problems are in Las Vegas, especially with all the illegals working in the culinary union. When I worked in the Ca public employees union, they bussed people from all over CA to Nevada, to GOTV and somehow use addresses so they could vote in Nevada and turn it blue.
