Keep the Truth coming Mr. President
Keep on Tweeting!
Third amendment fails 51-49, with Collins and Romney again voting with the Dems.
Fourth Amendment is from Sen. Van Hollen, D-MD, asking the presiding officer to rule on all questions of evidence, executive privilege, documents that Senators may bring, etc.
McConnell tables, and asks for the ayes and nays.
Vote is taking place now.
Last of four proposed amendments by Senator van Holland from Maryland to give CJ power to rule on motions, etc. A similar motion was offered at the start of the trial. This amendment also gives CJ the power to rule on matter of asserted privilege.
This will be tabled on party line again, 53-47 in favor of tabling.
After that, Mitch will say that by agreement, the senate is adjourned until Monday 11 am, and the senate cameras will go dark.
I fear what the dems are going to pull by Wednesday. I suspect they’ll come up with some other “whistleblower” who will offer some wild testimony and the dems will try to delay the vote and demand the new wb be heard. They are scum.
Sorry, I forgot to give credit to Cboldt for last tweet.
Vote is 53-47 and 4th amendment fails.Romney and Collins vote with GOP.
Well so far everything is along party lines except those 2 turncoats who want to hear from Bolton.
Such a shame.
CJ just graveled and said ORDER.
Was Camel laughing again?
Some Senators were gabbing , I think.
Or Eric Swallwell and farted.
The motion for the schedule is passed 53-47, along party lines. Why would you vote against a schedule? Pettiness by the Dims.
McConnell lays out what happens for the next few days.
Asks for unanimous consent, no one objects, Senate is adjourned.
Trial resumes Monday at 11:00 am.
RUDY video bump
The record for the trial was agreed to be closed.
Senators speaking on Monday and Tuesday, for up to 10 minutes each, can have their remarks included in the record.
This gives everyone their say.
Gives the Rats the entire weekend to come up with their next “surprise”.
GOP gets played yet again.
All you Yertle haters (and you know who you are): this guy was brilliant and played hardball throughout.
The ONLY slipup was that apparently they never contemplated what to do in a tie.— Larry Schweikart (@LarrySchweikart) February 1, 2020
Democratic Party leaders are considering a mid-election rule change to reintroduce first round superdelegates in order to stop Bernie Sanders, who party operatives fear will enter convention with the most voter support. https://t.co/Ot61TrmHhK— Lee Fang (@lhfang) January 31, 2020

Finally this sham is over for the week. It'll resume on Monday, and there will be two hours each side for closing arguments, the Senators can have 10 minutes each for debate only Mon-Wed (grandstanding lol) and vote on Wednesday at 4pm " without intervening action or debate"
I remarked to a friend on FB, “It will drag on ad infinitum. I am expecting Nadler’s wife or Jimmy Carter to die before the acquittal vote is taken. Or, maybe WW 4 will breakout. Or, all of the above! With a few mass shootings and an additional pandemic. And, a meteor!” She added something along the lines that Republican Senators may need to hire extra body guards given the rat propensity for actually killing their opponents.
“Welcome back my friends, to the show that never ends....”

The simple fact that resolves this #impeachment case is that a President has the responsibility & the authority to investigate credible allegations of corruption. In President Trumps case, there were more than enough allegations concerning #BurismaBiden corruption.
