One of the comments there notes the word “preferred”, not that Trump ordered it. I can see someone saying that in conversation with his people. What someone says and what they actually do are two different things. Isn’t that why there is executive privilege? The President needs to be able to talk and listen to his advisors candidly before making decisions.
Bolton is looking for revenge anyway, since the President didnt do everything he said, so I would take anything he writes or says with a big grain of salt.

Patients don’t typically become symptomatic until after 5 days, so who knows.

I think they’d flown from Beijing to LAS.
