Date of that drop was Dec 15, 2019.
We are now approaching the 15th of January.....People replying to the tweet are mentioning snowfall in Russia. Could @Snowden be arriving from Russia (or wherever) soon?

5:55 PM - 12 Jan 2020
We know 5 : 5 is significant - do you think 5:55 is also?
Alternatively, I have not been a Qlock FReeq, but was there a watch or clock picture with 5:55 on it? I just can’t recall, and am unable to do a search on it right now.

The White House also posted the “First snow of the year” picture on January 10 on it’s Facebook page. There was about 3” of snow on January 7 and it melted away in a day or so.
“Newsweek said it reached out to the White House for comment and later learned that the White House shared a flickr.com page that further explained the photo used in the tweet was taken on Jan. 7, the last time it snowed in the city. The confusion appeared to be that the White House did not include the date the photo was taken in the tweet.”
