The U.S. bluntly rejects a request by Iraq’s caretaker prime minister to start working out a road map for an American troop withdrawal. Instead, the U.S. State Department said the two sides should talk about how to recommit to their partnership.
I like this guy’s take on the impeachment:

Except he hasn’t been impeached until the case is sent to the Senate and frankly, I doubt that he cares. He’ll wear it as a badge of honor that the Dems voted to impeach but didn’t have the b**** to carry through.

From colleague Caroline McKee. Pelosi says no vote on sending impeachment articles to the Senate today.

Did you know that #Yoga is one of the many ways that Sailors can get their mind and body right at sea to stay Navy fit? #FridayFitness
Ummmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmh--"calm before the storm"??!!!!!!!!!!!!
I think I have the whole train to myself.........
Agree!
IMHO Gaetz's verbose and empathetic defense of Katie Hill was way over the top considering the undeniable photographic evidence of her transgressions and her subsequent lying abiout it.
He went unnecessarily far, far beyond a simple statement of concern or support for a friend or peer caught doing wrong and lying about it.
To me it immediately;y created suspicions of a possible similar relationship or hidden guilt for other wrongdoing on his part.
I may be way off base on my suspicions bu that's my story and I'm sticking to it!
It was like when Dennis Hastert defended William Jefferson D-LA. Made me question what was in Hastert’s closet.
And boy did we ever find out.
Downed Ukrainian Boeing was NOT a Max.
Because of Max models being grounded, supplier is now laying people off.
Awhile back I read that no one had been questioned. The. I read that Huber had put off the I investigation until the IG report.
Nearly 18 months later, there has been nary a public peep from U.S. Attorney John Huber, the man Mr. Sessions assigned to get to the bottom of things.
Likely witnesses say Mr. Huber has never contacted them, and members of Congress say they are still in the dark despite regular pleas to see progress.

John Solomon: Ill give you some breaking news right now, Sean. Just two hours ago federal prosecutors assigned to John Huber, the US attorney investigating the Clintons, reached out to a whistleblower in the Clinton Foundation The first time weve seen contact between a Clinton Foundation whistleblower and that particular federal office. That just happened tonight.
Former US Attorney Joe diGenova says that the Huber investigation into the Clinton Foundation is a farce. Huber hasnt even interviewed the top witness in the case whom diGenova represents!
Currently there are three investigations going on regarding the Deep State and Obama/Clinton crimes the Huber investigation, the DOJ IG Horowitz investigations into FISA abuse and a separate investigation into James Comey and the most recent investigation set up by AG Barr in Connecticut led by John Durham.
Former US Attorney Joe diGenova said this about the three investigations (starting at around the 9 minute mark in audio below)
Huber was supposed to be investigating leaks and a bunch of other things. He stopped his investigation because of Horowitz so hes a useless appendage whos done nothing. In fact, hes supposed to be investigating Uranium One and yet he never contacted our law firm and we represent the key informant in the case, Doug Campbell. So go figure!
Attorney General Jeff Sessions tasked Huber with reviewing Obama-era surveillance abuses and the Uranium One scandal late last year and many of President Trump’s supporters are depending on him to get to the bottom of the corruption. Some on social media are even convinced that Huber, an Obama holdover, has been quietly gathering a damning mountain of evidence that is going to blow the deep state conspiracy wide open with massive amounts of collateral damage in and out of the government — right before the election
It’s a lovely thought, but one that Washington, D.C. attorney Victoria Toensing of diGenova & Toensing threw a bucket of cold water on Wednesday evening.
“And now — nine months later — not only has [neither] Bruce Ohr [nor] Nellie Ohr been interviewed, but my client in Uranium One ... has not been interviewed,” Toensing exclaimed. “Now, how can you even evaluate those two issues without talking to those three people?! It’s a sham! — it’s a Potemkin Village! It’s a Potemkin investigation! I’m appalled!” she added.
Toensing had a message for Republicans in Congress: “You’ve been snookered!
Thanks...great post.
Toensing has been sounding the non-investigation investigation alarms for some time.
Deaf ears, and all.
Where is the Republican outrage? I haven’t seen/heard any shock or disappointment, on this Huber joke of an investigation, from any Reps. Have you?
Fake media keep saying this and yet we have the first era of peace and prosperity in this country since 9/11/2001.
China is negotiating. Iran backed down. NAFTA replaced. North Korea has chilled. Embassy in Jerusalem. Turkey/Syria 200 yr-old border dispute solved. https://t.co/lEFS4TooM2— John Ocasio-Nolte (@NolteNC) January 10, 2020
I wonder if deckhands on the windjammers rounding Cape Horn in the winter back in the 1800's were into yoga.....
That’s interesting information, thanks.
And boy did we ever find out.
Great analogy.
If it stinks like a dead fish odds are that it is a dead fish!

How could any of the self described moderates vote for any of the very liberal Democrat candidates?
Like usual, I sure appreciate all your hard work in posting all this great info.
But like usual, I am so lost. LOL
I just hope and pray that the Iranian people get their country back after 40 years of brutality by the so called men of religion.
You’re just supposed to know those things, lol.
