I wanted a trial at first, but now want dismissal. Proceeding to treat articles that do NOT meet the required bar for impeachment is not wise. There is no treason, bribery, or high crimes or misdemeanors. It deserves nothing more than dismissal. No witnesses are required by the Senate. The Dem House had its kick at the cat and they’ve moved to the next stage. The Senate would be foolish to assist their search for dirt. It’s a dangerous precedent to set - holding a trial when the charges were not there.

The Repubs can call witnesses in another forum - get the Bidens to testify directly about the corruption being dug up in Ukraine. Hopefully they’re in Durham’s crosshairs.
