Prince Harry and Meghan, the Duchess of Sussex, are stepping back from their roles as senior members of the British royal family and plan to work towards becoming "financially independent," the couple announced on Instagram on Wednesday.
"After many months of reflection and internal discussions, we have chosen to make a transition this year" they wrote, explaining that they hope to "carve out a progressive new role within this institution." "We intend to step back as 'senior' members of the Royal Family and work to become financially independent, while continuing to fully support Her Majesty The Queen," they said.

That’s their way of merging megans Hollywood Elites with the UK....they know who can spread the butter.
however it works she will get far more than she deserves.
Harry...The Queen must be grinding her teeth. What a mistake he made.
She must have platinum in the important areas.
“ We” are giving up “ our” royal titles.
Sad what this woman is stripping away from Harry.
Family, heritage, birthright, culture, customs, history.
All so she has control.
I do think she is mental.
I don't think Jerry would have them on there. Well, maybe if she tried to get her "Jerry" beads. Might not be much left to see after nursing the baby and Harry.
Who knows. The Queen could be telling Harry to come back after Me-gan takes him for half his stuff.
This happened to some extent to Quarterback Aaron Rodgers and Olivia Munn.
Families see this all the time.
Some woman gets her hooks in, exploits cracks, makes it all about her, alienates person even further from family
Nothing families can do until it hits the fan.
And so as not to appear sexist..it happens with Men playing that role too. Seems to me happens more with females doing it.
This really is a tragedy for the poor kid of Diana. He just doesn’t see it yet. No doubt THE Queen and the two future Kings see the disaster waiting to happen to the hapless halfwit.

If they want to liv a *simple* life away from folks, I hope they don’t decide to settle in The Maritimes; it would spoil it for everyone.

Well she created the rift with Harry and William..no surprise it would ripple out further and touch the entire royal family....and now they’re out.
However this is also what Harry wants, he is not guiltless in this matter and has long seperted himself from the royal standards....megan was just the ticket to get out without taking a complete bruising..
Golf balls and chrome hitches are not safe around her?
Did I miss the part about how they will earn their own money? Are they going to get jobs?
Be interesting to see how Harry lives without having everyone do what he wants! Hope the Queen cuts off ALL support to them! If Megan thinks this is the PR way to get back into the graces of the British, believe she is wrong!
