Trump: No Americans Harmed by Iranian Missile Strikes
The Epoch Times ^ | 01-08-20 | ZACHARY STIEBER

No Americans or Iraqis died from the missiles fired by Iran on Jan. 7, President Donald Trump said in an address at the White House on Jan. 8. “I’m pleased to inform you, the American people should be extremely grateful and happy. No Americans were harmed by last night’s attack by the Iranian regime,” Trump said. “We suffered no casualties, all of our American people are safe, and we suffered minimal damage at our bases.” “Iran appears to be standing down, which is a good thing for all parties and a very good thing for the world.”

When it comes to Iran’s nasty habit of attacking our embassies throughout the years, Trump provided a Pavlovian teaching moment for the Ayatollah.. Now instead of receiving a Democrat cash treat when they do so, they get beat with a hellfire stick. The only person as relieved as Trump that little damage occurred during the attack was the Ayatollah who produced this piece of theater for the benefit of his homeys at the terror mosque back home. He had to be fearful of what would happen to his operation if they actually caused casualties. Whew!

I was asking myself — what the heck? Iran launched 15 ballistic missiles and essentially hit NOTHING !

Either their AIM is so bad and they’re incompetent or they deliberately hit nothing.

If the former, then they’re worse than I thought ( but I don’t underestimate them since they were able to hit our drone when they wanted to ).

This “face-saving” measure is consistent with the reports we’ve been hearing that their own propaganda WITHIN Iran for their own people tells them that they killed dozens of our troops.

So last night, all these propagandists on FR kept telling us how a massive 80 Americans had been killed. Certain Freepers were determined to spread as much panic and confusion as they could.
Not good.

That would have been a lot of cash they embarrassingly blew for such a bad result if it was deliberate!

Iran warned Iraq about an hour before the missile attack that it would be coming — giving time to evacuate.

He tossed both Carter and Obama under the bus.

I would guess the average American never heard of the billion dollar bribe Obama gave Iran to sign a fake treaty.

It was considerably cheaper for them to save face by wasting 15 missiles, than to actually hit something and kill Americans - because then Trump would’ve unleashed Hell upon them.

RE: Iran warned Iraq about an hour before the missile attack that it would be coming — giving time to evacuate.

In his speech today, Trump mentioned the DISPERSAL of our troops and an “Early Warning System that worked very well”.

I wonder if the “Early warning system” was OURS or was the Iranian warning to Iraq that you mentioned.

But WHY would Iran warn Iraq before the missile launch?

It looks like Iran did not want anyone killed ( otherwise why the warning )?

If so, my suspicions are confirmed. It was a “face-saving” measure so that they can tell their own people (they control the media there ) that they retaliated for Soleimani’s death by killing dozens of our troops.

Whether the Iranians ( many of who are clever enough to bypass their propaganda press ) will believe this is another story.

RE: Pleased new Epoch Times subscriber.

Just know that this paper is owned by the Falun Gong religion (I’m not against that, just informing you), just as the Washington Times is owned by the Moonies.

Other than that, we know that this paper’s editorial stance is pro-American, pro-Trump and anti-Communist China.

Where are the interviews with obama and clinton and kerry?
Corrupt media covering up for them.

Trump: “Iran’s hostilities substantially increased after the foolish Iran nuclear deal was signed in 2013, and they were given $150 billion not to mention $1.8 billion in cash. Instead of saying thank you to the United States, they chanted ‘Death to America.’

“In fact they chanted ‘Death to America’ the day the agreement was signed. Then Iran went on a terror spree, funded by the money from the deal and created hell in Yemen, Syria, Lebanon, Afghanistan and Iraq.

“The missiles fired last night at us and our allies were paid for with the funds made available by the last administration,” Trump said.

My concern is we knew those missiles were coming and were allowed to hit their target.

Yes BILLIONS

I don’t think anyone (outside of the government) know just how much money Obama turned over to Iran but it was a lot.

https://www.politifact.com/truth-o-meter/statements/2018/apr/27/donald-trump/donald-trump-iran-150-billion-and-18-billion-c/

I tried to find a site that had the exact amount but funny enough all I found were sites saying he did not give Iran $150 billion but they were not real clear on just how much he did give.

So I may be wrong on the exact about but I think we can agree a very large amount of money was given to Iran and some of that money was used to promote terrorism around the world and in the killing and wounding Americans.

In case anyone missed it, Trumps very first opening line in his speech this morning was subtle but extremely poignant.

“We will never allow Iran to get nuclear weapons. Hello....”

It initially struck me as odd. I think it was a message from Trump to the Iranian leaders that they would get loud and clear. “The next target will be all your nuclear sites.”

Iran is woke. Apparently, beyond their bluster, they understand the stakes and the risks of provocation of America under Trump.

At some point, those nuclear sites in Iran are going to have to be destroyed. And they are buried so it’s gonna take some specialized munitions to get er done (I suspect). After Trump gets re-elected, I’d like to see some collaboration with Israel and the Saudi’s to clean up the neighborhood. Then I would feel more comfortable withdrawing from the ME. As of now, I think we need to maintain some strategic presence to be able to keep striking terrorists evolving, planning and training in that cesspool of evil in the world. The talking heads that keep opining, “Why do we have troops and assets over there?”, have forgotten what led up to 9/11. Nations funding, sponsoring, harboring and supporting organized terrorist operations need to be repeatedly swatted every time they start to grow roots. Those reprobates in the ME are not going to police themselves. And all of the terrorists biggest prize is successful killing of Americans. In the ME, hating America needs to be dangerous, or at least uncomfortable. We aren’t going to win their hearts and affection. They are too primitive for that.

I heard on the Daily Wire (Ben Shapiro) saying the Iraqi Prime Minister was warned an hour in advance. I think you’re right it was a face saving move. It was also similar to the drone shooting where no Americans died, but with an increase in sanctions against Iran. A pretty balanced response.

But Trump was breathing differently, like he was nervous. I have never heard him breath like that. Still, he did a great job.

I refer to them as Frolls, Trolls who visit FR trying to sow discord and dissension ...

Ignore them or call them out, they also have a habit of posting a new thread and never stating their reason or position on it

Forewarned is forearmed
