The tumultuous personal life of left-leaning congresswoman Ilhan Omar has taken another turn — her ex-husband remarried just 37 days after she divorced him, DailyMail.com has learned.
Ahmed Hirsi, the father of the Minnesota representative's three children, tied the knot with pediatric nurse Ladan Ahmed, who had worked on Omar's election campaign.
'She's as Somali as they come,' one leader of the large Somali community in the Minneapolis/St. Paul area said about Hirsi's new wife.
DailyMail.com understands the couple are now on honeymoon in Saudi Arabia and made a pilgrimage to Mecca. Hirsi did not return DailyMail.com's requests for comment.
DailyMail.com also has acquired exclusive video of the ceremony that took place in an apartment in the Somali capital of Mogadishu.

I'll bet that there has been a 'financial payoff'
if not by Ilhan directly, then by her political backers at CAIR .
It takes a lot of political financial donations to the party,
in order to sit on all the foreign committees where she sits.
Somebody has made a large investment so that she is present,
and can direct those committees, in thought and direction.
Looks like an upgrade from Ilhan. Good for him.

And trust me (I live in the Twin Cities area), Somalis are nasty people - ethically, hygiene-wise and personally. Ask anyone who has rented apartments or houses to them. There is a rise in crime committed by Somalis in the metro area and don’t even get me going about the number of them that were recruited for jihad adventures. Frankly, they will not in any way, shape or form assimilate into the US. When it comes to gaming the system for benefits, there’s no group better at it - except for maybe Nigerians.
IIRC, I read once that even in Islam, Somalis are regarded as bottom feeders or trailer trash.
Is that her brother? Definitely an improvement for him.
Same for Columbus, Ohio - the entire East Side of Columbus, especially around the Airport is overrun by Somali’s - If you travel down Cleveland Ave. signs for stores are no loner in English. Thanks to Les Wexner for bringing in the cheap Somali labor to work at his Limited warehouses.

Why not? Saudi is one of the optimum places to be fitted and trained for a bomb vest...
