We welcome your research, your commentary, your personal OT sharing and your presence. Even if you do not share a lot, just check in and say hi. Lurkers are welcome to become posters!
This is not true - was never true - & no one even attempted to confirm with the press office before tweeting. In a race to be first to break news, the public once again falls victim to irresponsible reporting by @CNN @jeffzeleny @kaitlancollins https://t.co/7NdGlevoCO— Stephanie Grisham (@PressSec) January 8, 2020

I see no reason for Trump to retaliate now, and I’m sure that was by design.
As I always say, Trump is much smarter than me, and I can only reverse engineer his actions.
Iran has “avenged” Suleimani and warned us to not retaliate for their retaliation.
If I’m right, Trump will use the fact that there were no American casualties as the reason he won’t retaliate.
In the past few days, Trump has emphasized that we will protect AMERICANS.
The Iraqis are making noises that we should leave.
It’s very likely that there WEREN’T Iraqis casualties, but it’s politically advantageous for the Iraqis to say that there were.
Iran faked most of the attack

We all benefit. Iran is terrorist state. That attack did exactly what they wanted. Missed Americans. Sadly there were Iraqi casualties, but that missile strike was impressively ineffectual against Americans from that distance. Iran is playing a game, nobody wants war with the US.
Yes, they do.
But my tagline is and always has been indisputable.
:-D
Well, on that note I think it is safe for me to take myself off to bed.
The fireworks is over, for now.
Good night all!
Nite!
That’s exactly what happens, everyone races to be the first to break news.
Nite, LG!
Im heading to bed soon, too.
US to start collecting DNA from people detained at border
NOMAAN MERCHANT Associated PressJanuary 6, 2020
FTA
The U.S. government on Monday launched a pilot program to collect DNA from people in immigration custody and submit it to the FBI, with plans to expand nationwide.
The information would go into a massive criminal database run by the FBI, where it would be held indefinitely. A memo outlining the program published Monday by the Department of Homeland Security said U.S. citizens and permanent residents holding a green card who are detained could be subject to DNA testing, as well as asylum seekers and people entering the country without authorization. Refusing to submit DNA could lead to a misdemeanor criminal charge, the document said.
President Donald Trump’s administration announced last year it would seek to expand its use of biometrics to stop migrant adults from bringing children and falsely posing as parents. Whistleblowers had also complained U.S. Customs and Border Protection was violating federal law that requires agencies to collect DNA from people they arrest or detain.
Thanks for posting that. I heard the news and had to get on here to see what was going on.
Have a good night
“Thank God for President Trump.”
Absolutely!
“Instead of closely monitoring the situation, Pelosi was at a restaurant grand opening”
More likely checking out the bar at the restaurant.
@HeshmatAlavi
No American casualties.
This is the perfect outcome.
The Iraqis will say, “Don’t retaliate for our sake.”
I could be wrong, but I think Trump will not retaliate, and this will be over
Sleep tight!
Thanks.
