House Speaker Nancy Pelosi is leaving open the possibility of withholding articles of impeachment against President Donald Trump until she is assured a fair trial in the Senate.
“So far we haven’t seen anything that looks fair to us,” Pelosi said Wednesday after her caucus voted to impeach the president. She was referring to what Democratic leadership plans on doing after the vote.

The other election aspect is they think they can use “impeachment” as the excuse for why the GOP loses massively in 2020 (when the real reason is massive vote fraud).
Then it ain’t official. She can’t hold the articles and claim that Trump has been impeached. Either she submits them to the Senate or Trump has not been impeached.
This is like sitting at a poker table and betting big on a sh!tty hand to bluff your way out of trouble, then realizing that you're about to get your ass handed to you when your opponent calls you out.
So you decide that your best option is to have your friend pull a fire alarm in the casino, hoping everyone will vacate the building before you put your cards on the table.
Or perhaps Trump, Barr and Guiliani have enough dirt on Pelosi, et al to send them the gallows.
Me thinks this is what the impeachment is all about. The Deep State (including all career Dems, Republicans, and bureaucrats) are motivated by the threat of at the very least going to prison, having their fortunes and their families I’ll gotten gains seized, their reputations / place in history sullied beyond repair, and most importantly, losing their lives at the end of the Hangman’s Noose.
Teump promised to drain the swamp, but the swamp is much deeper, corrupt and powerful than any of anticipated.
The idea was, they can question more witnesses (to “get more evidence”) and send the subpoenas to be enforced by a court; if the court agrees and Pres. Trump refuses to cooperate, then they can argue they have legitimate grounds for Obstruction.
HOWEVER, the Dems are taking a real chance here ... courts might not agree, and either way, they’re bystanders while the appeals-process plays out, which could be months, well into Democrat voting season ...
PLUS, Notorious could suddenly pass, and with the Senate not tied up with impeachment, that could be a speedy confirmation process for the next SC ...

A Senate trial means WITNESSES that don’t want talking, compelled to talk. This is ALL about narratives. Narratives like an IMPEACHED President can not be allowed to pick RBG’s replacement.
