Construction of Navy Ship ‘Harvey Milk’ Begins at San Diego Shipbuilder

Construction began Friday on a Navy ship named after Harvey Milk, a former San Francisco supervisor and activist who was fatally shot months after becoming the first openly gay man elected in California more than forty years ago.

Almost 30 years before his election, Milk was a Naval dive officer based in San Diego. His nephew, Stuart Milk, attended Friday’s event and said naming the ship — known as a fleet oiler — after his uncle sends a message to people around the world.

Syntax is the structure of sentences which is guided by a set of rules and principles common to a language- English.

Am perfectly fine with what you were doing (whether you were familiar with the ship type or not, everyone at FR got the reference you were making). You however missed entirely my point about the absolute female dog (see the metaphorically actual word for this) Diane Feinstein, who profited enormously for the murder of this said harvey milk (mental defective homosexual who happened to have once been... in the Navy as a diver, whoopee!).
